ELLICOTT POLICE
– Mark R. Burch Jr, ,32 , of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny, resisting arrest, and seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance at 7:18 p.m. March 2 after Ellicott police officers responded to a shoplifting complaint where it is alleged Burch took property from an Ellicott business without paying. Burch allegedly began resisting arrest when officers attempted to place him under arrest, and officers allegedly found Burch with methamphetamine. Burch was given an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later and was turned over to the Jamestown Police Department on an unrelated arrest warrant.
– Jessica L. Mcadoo, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and trespassing at 11:26 a.m. March 6 after Ellicott police responded to a trespassing complaint at an Ellicott business. Mcadoo was allegedly trespassing and allegedly violated an order of protection by being in the other person’s place of employment. Mcadoo was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Bobby R. Mount, 42, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny on March 19 after officers responded to a larceny early in the morning on March 19. Mount was allegedly found in possession of a motorcycle which he did not have permission to have. Investigation found the motorcycle was taken from an Ellicott hotel without permission. Mount will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Hector J. Guzman Oyola, 37, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and numerous other traffic violations at 8:12 a.m. March 9. Ellicott police officers pulled a vehicle over on Fairmount Avenue after the driver was allegedly speeding and driving erratically going west on Fairmount Avenue. Officers made contact with the driver, who allegedly showed signs of impairment. Officers administered field sobriety tests and charged Guzman with DWAI. A drug recognition expert was used because officers thought was impaired by drugs. Guzman will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– William A. Karolyi, 42, of Falconer was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny at 11:21 a.m. March 13 after officers responded to a larceny complaint, where it is alleged Karolyi stole $1,228.20 worth of merchandise from Tops Market in Falconer. Karolyi will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Angelica E. Rivera, 28, of Jamestown was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while intoxicated, second-degree obstructing government administration, resisting arrest and other traffic violations at 12:34 a.m. March 16 after officers pulled a vehicle over after several observed traffic infractions. It’s alleged Rivera was driving under the influence. Rivera allegedly failed to comply with officers’ commands and resisted arrest. Rivera will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Zachary A. Miller, 32, of Falconer was charged with resisting arrest, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and false personation at 12:02 p.m. March 4. Ellicott police responded to and conducted a street check on Miller, where it is alleged Miller gave officers a false name on a prior incident earlier that day. Miller allegedly resisted arrest, fought with an officer and then ran away. Miller was caught and charged when officers report finding Miller had methamphetamine and fentanyl. It was also found Miller had multiple warrants from multiple police departments out for his arrest. Miller was given an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later and was turned over to Jamestown police for an outstanding arrest warrant in Jamestown.
– Kyle J. Seekings, 38, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and petit larceny at 4:42 p.m. March 3 after officers responded to a domestic dispute. Seekings allegedly refused to let a person leave the residence for an extended period of time and then allegedly took property belonging to the person after the person ran from the home. Seekings was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment and will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Ashley N. Gorton, 40, of Jamestown and Kayla A. Norris, 33, of Jamestown were both charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 8:23 p.m. March 11 after officers responded to a shoplifting complaint. It’s alleged Gorton and Norris went into an Ellicott business and took $1,149.42 worth of merchandise without paying. Gorton and Norris allegedly loaded the merchandise in their vehicle and left the parking lot. Lakewood-Busti police officers found the vehicle and tried to pull it over, but Gorton and Norris allegedly fled from police before eventually stopping. Both Norris and Gorton were allegedly found in possession of stolen property. Gorton, the operator of vehicle, was turned over to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department for unrelated charges. Both Gorton and Norris will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Marcus A. Mcaffee, 35, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt at 1:14 a.m. Thursday after officers responded to a north side home for a reported domestic dispute. Mcaffee allegedly shoved a person who had an active order of protection against Mcaffee. Mcaffee was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
