CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— SHERMAN — At around 12:32 p.m. Friday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Mount Pleasant Road for an observed traffic violation.
Deputies identified the operator as Philip A Decker, 26, of Dunkirk. Decker was found to have multiple felony arrest warrants through the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Decker was additionally found to be in possession of a small quantity of cocaine.
Decker was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned on the felony arrest warrants, one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and several other traffic violations. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Larry M Houser, 40, of Mayville. Houser was found to have several misdemeanor arrest warrants through the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Houser was also transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
— HANOVER — At around 2:52 p.m. Saturday, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Bennett State Road near Forestville Road for observed traffic violations.
After further investigation of the traffic stop, the operator James White Jr., 52, of Irving, was taken into custody for DWAI. White was transported to the Hanover substation and released with charges of DWAI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle, speed in zone, moving from lane unsafely. He will be in town court later.
— FALCONER — At 1:28 p.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s office initiated a traffic stop on Everett Street. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brittney H. White, 36, of Sinclairville.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that White was driving while intoxicated. White was charged with DWI and inadequate plate lamps. She will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
— SHERIDAN — at 2:23 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 20. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Dustin A. Harmon of Collins. Upon further investigation it was determined that Harmon was driving while intoxicated. Harmon was charged with DWI, speed in zone and improper or unsafe turn without signal. He will be at town court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Daniel E. Reagle, 49, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful imprisonment. At approxiamtely 12:15 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to an address on the southside for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers learned the defendant, Reagle, unlawfully imprisoned a victim during the course of an argument. Reagle was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He was held pending arraignment.
— Virginia L. Matteson, 55, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. At about 3 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to an address on the south side for an unwanted person. Upon investigation it was found that suspect Matteson unlawfully entered and remained in the victim’s residence for a duration of time, despite being asked to leave several times. She was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
