JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Jason M. Skinner, 45, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment at 9:04 p.m. Tuesday after city police officers responded to a domestic incident on the city’s west side. Skinner allegedly hit a youth in the side of the face and also allegedly got into a fight with an adult woman. Police report the fight took place in the presence of a second youth. Skinner was found a short distance away and charged without incident. . Skinner was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without incident.

– Gerald Samuels Jr., 19, of Jamestown and Jacquelyn Hayes, 33, of Jamestown were both charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday near West Third and Cherry streets after officers allegedly saw a moving violation. Samuels was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and Hayes was allegedly found in possession of fentanyl. Both were taken to the city jail before being released with tickets to be in Jamestown City Court later.

– Arnold A. Williams, 65, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, three counts of public lewdness and two counts of second-degree harassment after cit police responded to the city’s west side at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a person with a weapon. Williams allegedly threatened the people, grabbed a baseball bat and attempted to hit one of them. Williams also allegedly exposed his genitals to the people during the argument. Williams was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Kimberley R. Mazzone of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 8:48 p.m. Sunday after a traffic stop on Washington Street near West 13th Street. Mazzone was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of fentanyl. She was taken to the city jail before being released with an appearance ticket to be in Jamestown City Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

– Thure J. Fransen, 45, of Lakewood was charged with third-degree criminal trespass at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday after deputies were notified of a man trying to enter a secure county facility. Deputies found the man in an area not authorized to the public and allegedly identified him as Fransen. Fransen was taken to the county Sheriff’s Office for processing and given an appearance ticket to be in Chautauqua Town Court later.
