JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Robert M. Bloom, 31, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt at 3:47 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to an address on the city’s south side for a reported domestic incident. Officers allegedly found Bloom in front of the other person’s home despite having a full stay away order of protection in effect between Bloom and the other person. Bloom was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– Darryl D. Cavness, 40, of Jamestown was charged with DWI/DWAI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating outside of an ignition interlock restriction at 11:19 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to Pershing Street for a reported suspicious vehicle. Offiers report arriving to find a man slumped over in the driver’s seat while the vehicle was running. It was found Cavness was allegedly operating the vehicle while impaired and was also allegedly found in possession of fentanyl. He was charged and taken to the city jail pending arraignment.
