JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Darryl D. Cavness, 40, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, DWI per se, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without an ignition interlock device and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 3:17 a.m. Thursday. City police officers pulled over a vehicle on Buffalo Street after reportedly seeing Cavness driving knowing Cavness’s driver’s license was revoked due to previous DWI convictions. Cavness allegedly failed field sobriety testing and was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
– James E. Turner II, 42, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment and resisting arrest at 10:38 p.m. Jan. 19 after city police officers responded to a west side business for a domestic dispute that allegedly took place nearby. According to a police report, Turner II allegedly punched a person in the face, pulled their hair out and injured the other person’s hand. Turner II reportedly had left before officers arrived, but he was found a short time later on the city’s north side, where he allegedly failed to comply with officers’ orders and attempted to pull away while being placed into custody. Turner II was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– WESTFIELD – Jonathon Wilson, 39, of Westfield was charged Wednesday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree menacing. Deputies said around 5 p.m. they responded to an address on McKinley Road for a report of a person with a weapon threatening others and barricading himself. Through verbal efforts Wilson, who is the accused defendant, did eventually follow commands to come outside and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for an arraignment.
– HANOVER – Jesse Figuero, 32, of Hanover was charged Wednesday with third-degree attempted assault, second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief. It is alleged that around 10 p.m. Figuero had entered a residence in the town of Hanover that was not his. While doing so he damaged property that did not belong to him and attempted to assault another party. Figuero was arrested and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
– RIPLEY – Robin Woodcock, 67, of Ripley was charged Thursday with third-degree falsely reporting an incident. Deputies said that around 1:30 a.m. they were called to an address in the Town of Ripley for a report of an alleged emergency. Upon arrival and while speaking with the caller it was alleged that Woodcock did knowingly report a false incident. She was given appearance tickets for the Town of Ripley Court.
DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT
– Gianna Gates, 27, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 16 and charged with three counts of petit larceny.
– Marissa Moquin, 28, of Silver Creek, was arrested Jan. 16 and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator of vehicle, and obstructed license plate.
– Isaiah Higgins, 24, of Cleveland, Ohio, was arrested Jan. 16 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and obstructed driver’s view.
– Tyler Lintz, 32, of Ripley, was arrested Jan. 17 and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.
– Luis Alvarez Luna, 21, of Dunkirk, was arrested Jan. 17 and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and seven vehicle and traffic law infractions.
– Jordan Lagano, 33, of Fredonia, was arrested Jan. 18 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating with suspended registration, and operating without insurance.
– Santos Gonzalez, 72, homeless, was arrested Jan. 18 and charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree obstruction of government administration.
– Steven Andrews, 60, of Jamestown, was arrested Sunday and charged with trespass.
– Thomas Gonzalez, 23, of Dunkirk, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, and second-degree harassment.
– Heather Gee, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested Tuesday and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no tail lamps.
