CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— RIPLEY — At around 7:34 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a business on Shortman Road for a report of a female who used fraudulent money for a purchase.
After a brief investigation, Kimberly Ramey, 47 of Westfield, was found to have used a fake $100 dollar bill and did receive an amount of cash back from the purchase which was stolen from the business.
Ramey was charged with petit larceny and third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and released with appearance tickets to be in Town Court later.
