JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Constance A. Mitchell, 21, of Jamestown was charged with three counts of second-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal mischief after an incident late Saturday.
At about 11:25 p.m., officers responded to an address on the West side for a well being check of an erratic female who was outside, unclothed, screaming. During the investigation, officers learned that Mitchell had cut a male victim with a knife and then struck him with various objects which caused injury. She was taken into custody and transported to the city jail.
— Sabrina Sample, 23, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing.
Around 9 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a West side address for a domestic dispute. Through an investigation, officers learned Sample had raised a pair of scissors with the scissor blades pointed at the male victim and threatened to stab him with them. She was placed into custody and transported to the City Jail without incident.
— Jessica Diaz-Hernandez, 45, of Falconer was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal mischief after an incident around 6 p.m. Friday.
Officers responded to the North Side for the report of an altercation. Upon arrival officers located a female, later identified as Diaz-Hernandez, walking away from the residence.
She was detained and subsequently found to have multiple warrants out of outside agencies. Through further investigation, it was found that Diaz-Hernandez forced her way into an occupied residence and started stealing the victim’s belongings.
When confronted, she charged at the victim with a knife, which resulted in the victim sustaining minor injuries. Diaz-Hernandez was transported to the city jail where she was being held pending arraignment.
