JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Zachary A. Graves, 28, and Nicole Parsons, 37, both of Jamestown, were charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child while Graves faces an additional charge of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree obstructing governmental administration after a domestic incident Sunday on the city’s south side. Police report responding to a reported domestic incident at 8:23 p.m. Sunday. Graves and Parsons were allegedly involved in a fight in the presence of a juvenile. Graves allegedly left before officers arrived and was found a short distance away hiding from officers behind a brick wall before trying to hide in leaves and brush. During their investigation officers found the home was in deplorable condition unfit for a child, according to the police report. Parsons and Graves were taken to the city jail until they could be arraigned. The child was turned over to the child’s father, who arrived on the scene.
ELLICOTT POLICE
– Bryanne C. Childers, 36, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, one count of unauthorized use of motor vehicle and one count of second-degree burglary on Saturday after Ellicott police responded to a report of a past-tense burglary. It is alleged Childers entered a residence and removed food, a laptop computer and also took the keys to the homeowners’ vehicle and left the scene. Police were able to find Childers. She was charged and taken to the county jail to be arraigned.
– Ashley N. Gorton, 39, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny at 11:14 a.m. Sunday after Ellicott police officers responded to a shoplifting complaint, where it is alleged Gorton removed a pair of gym shoes from the store without paying for them. Gorton was issued an appearance ticket to be in Ellicott Town Court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
– HANOVER – Dustin L. Strain, 23, of Ripley was charged with speeding, DWI per se and DWI common law after deputies pulled a vehicle over on Route 20 near King Road in Sheridan around 1:20 a.m. Sunday. After further investigation into the incident Strain was charged and taken to the Sheriff’s Office substation in Hanover where he was processed and released to be in Hanover Town Court later.
– Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a motor vehicle accident with personal injury that took place at 6:31 p.m. Sunday on Route 430 near Weaver Road. Deputies report a man was riding his motorcycle west on Route 430, when he went off of the road. The man was later transported via Medivac to UPMC Hamot for his injuries. The investigation is ongoing. No other vehicles were involved.
