– Kieran J. Hunt, 33, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, after police officers responded to a west side home at 12:15 a.m. Sunday for a reported suspicious situation. Upon arrival officers learned the incident was a domestic dispute in which Hunt had allegedly violated a duly served full stay away order of protection, protecting a victim from him. Hunt had gone to a person’s home and allegedly began kicking the door in an attempt to gain access. Hunt had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. Hunt was later found at a downtown establishment when he reportedly fled again into the basement of said establishment. Officers were able to take Hunt into custody after a brief period of time. Hunt was charged and taken to the city jail due to outstanding arrest warrants until he could be arraigned.
