JAMESTOWN POLICE

– Jason M. Seekings, 38, of Lakewood was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a class D felony, at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after city police officers pulled his vehicle over on Linden Avenue near Myrtle Street. Officers found Seekings was allegedly using a forged dealer license plate on the vehicle. During the course of the investigation it was determined that Jason M. Seekings was using a forged Dealer plate. Seekings also received numerous uniform traffic tickets as the vehicle was unregistered, uninspected and uninsured while Seekings also was operating on a suspended license with an interlock restriction. Seekings was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Robert BD Brinkley, 25, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree escape at 7:24 a.m. Thursday after officers responded to an east side home to help parole officers with a stabbing victim. Officers allege Brinkley stabbed a person several times in the head causing multiple severe cuts. The person was taken to UPMC Chautauqua for evaluation and treatment. Officers conducted a warrant check for Brinkley at 1249 a.m. at a north side home and report finding Brinkley inside an apartment. He was taken into custody and, as officers were taking him to the city jail, Brinkley ran away from officers. Brinkley was caught after a brief foot chase and was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Douglas E. Martin, 60, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt at 10 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to a reported in-progress physical domestic incident on the city’s south side. Officers report they were able to separate both people without incident. While investigating the incident, Martin allegedly made verbal threats that he was going to recruit more people and return to the address to physically beat the other person. Police report the other person has a valid refrain from order of protection against Douglas. Due to the statements made in the officers’ presence, Douglas was charged and taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Daniel J. Hallowell, 40, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 9:28 p.m. Thursday after officers pulled his vehicle over near Camp and May streets for a traffic infraction. According to a police report, officers saw drug paraphernalia in plain view. Officers searched the vehicle and determined Hallowell was allegedly in possession of a loaded semi-automatic pistol and a quantity of methamphetamine. Officers report Hallowell does not have a valid pistol permit. He was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.

– Anthony M. Waterman. 36, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 7:40 p.m. Thursday after police responded to an east side apartment building for a complaint of a possible trespasser. According to a police report, officers saw methamphetamine in plain sight while a search of Waterman allegedly revealed more methamphetamine. Waterman was taken to the city jail and held until he could be arraigned due to prior failures to return to court.

– Cody E. Reichenbach, 30, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal trespass after officers responded to an east side residence for a reported burglary in progress at 2:37 p.m. Thursday. Officers were told Reichenbach had been found in a vacant apartment without permission before running away from the scene. Reichenbach was found near the South Main Street railroad viaduct and charged without incident. He was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
