JAMESTOWN POLICE
– Sonia S. Mosley, 37, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 6:04 p.m. Sunday after officers reportedly saw Mosley walking near Myrtle Street and Newland Avenue knowing she had outstanding arrest warrants from another police agency. According to a police report, officers tried to speak with Mosley, who then ran into a nearby home. The home’s residents didn’t know Mosley. Officers found Mosley in the basement. Officers tried to charge Mosley who then allegedly began hitting, pushing and pulling away from officers. She was charged after a brief struggle, taken to the Jamestown City Jail and held in the city jail until she could be arraigned.
– Alberto Narvaez-Aponte, 43, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and Jamestown City Code bicycling violations. According to a police report, officers saw Narvaez-Aponte on Prendergast Avenue knowing he had an outstanding arrest warrant from the Jamestown Police Department for two counts of third-degree burglary and three counts of petit larceny, . Officers tried to arrest Narvaez-Aponte, who rode away on a bicycle before he wrecked the bicycle after a brief pursuit.
ELLICOTT POLICE
– Andrew L. Gray, 37, of Kiantone was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny Thursday. Ellicott police officers investigated a fraud complaint where it is alleged Gray completed fake item returns and took the money for the returned item. Gray was arrested and issued an appearance ticket. Gray will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
– Mackenzie Thayer, 25 , of Jamestown was charged with violating the Falconer village noise ordinance at 7:50 p.m. Ellicott police responded to a noise complaint where it is alleged Thayer hosted a large party in Falconer where noise was loud enough to disturb multiple residents of the village. Thayer will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
