JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Kelly B. Hodges, 61, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, driving/wrong direction on one-way street, uninspected motor vehicle and no seat belt. Police observed a vehicle at 1:43 p.m. Thursday traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. An investigation found that Hodges was allegedly operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court later.

— Cody D. Cogdell, 43, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree menacing. Officers responded at 8:49 p.m. Thursday to the west side of the city for a report of a person with a weapon. An investigation determined that Cogdell allegedly pointed a rifle at another person during an argument. Cogdell is scheduled to appear in court later.

GOWANDA POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Jordan L. Acevedo, 28, of Gowanda, was charged with petit larceny. Officers responded Sept. 27 to a reported larceny at a Buffalo Street business and learned that Acevedo allegedly hid merchandise under his coat and left. Acevedo was located Thursday and was issued a ticket to appear in Collins Town Court later.

— Jahikam A. Blake, 32, of Gowanda, was charged with petit larceny. Patrol was notified of a larceny at a Commercial Street address and learned that Blake had allegedly broken into a washing machine and dryer multiple times, stealing about $200 in change from the machines. Blake was taken into custody Friday and he is scheduled to appear in Persia Town Court later.

— Jahikam A. Blake, 32, of Gowanda, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree aggravated harassment, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Patrol responded at 1 p.m. Friday to a reported disturbance at a Commercial Street address and was notified that Blake had allegedly kicked in the door to a residence. Blake allegedly pushed a woman, causing her to strike her head on furniture. He also reportedly placed his hands on her throat and refused to let her leave. When police arrived, he jumped from a second-story window and fled. Blake was later taken into custody. The victim was transported to ECMC in Buffalo for treatment.

— Shauna M. Skinner, 36, of Ellicottville, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Patrol responded Dec. 15 to a Miller Street address for a report of a stolen credit card and learned that Skinner allegedly used the card to make three purchases. Skinner turned herself into police and is scheduled to appear in court later.

— Shade A. John, 26, of Collins, was charged with second-degree harassment and trespassing. John allegedly punched someone in the face Dec. 27 at a Buffalo Street business after previously being told he was not allowed on the property. John is scheduled to appear in court later.

— Peter J. Yoder, 37, of Dayton, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. After an altercation , Yoder allegedly chased someone in his vehicle. During the chase, Yoder allegedly drove across a lawn on Foundry Street and then ran over an array of patio furniture. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
