JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

• Jennifer Welch, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded at 8:41 p.m. Thursday to an address on the west side of the city in an attempt to locate Welch, who had felony warrants for her arrest. At the home it was determined that there was an order of protection for Welch to stay away from a male occupant. Welch was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

• Bracken D. Warren, 25, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Officers stopped a vehicle at 2:08 a.m. Thursday on West 15th Street for observed traffic infractions. Warren was a passenger in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up a small quantity of fentanyl, digital scales and packaging materials. Warren was allegedly found with 57.2 grams of methamphetamine. Warren was transported to jail and held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

• Jordan R. Magara, 27, no address listed, was issued an appearance ticket after being stopped by police at 11:56 p.m. on Nov. 14 on Route 60. An investigation found that Magara was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol. Magara was processed and released with a ticket to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

• Richard R. Michael, 42, no address listed, was charged with petit larceny. Police responded Nov. 17 to Wegman’s for a reported shoplifting. Michael allegedly took several items from the store without paying. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

• Zachary A. Crowe, 29, no address listed, was issued an appearance ticket after he was found at 2:18 a.m. on Nov. 20 in a vehicle parked on the side of Route 60. An investigation found that Crowe was allegedly intoxicated by alcohol. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

• Elizabeth M. Houser, 25, of Celoron, was charged with second-degree menacing. Officers were called at 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 to West Chadakoin Street in Celoron for a reported domestic dispute. It was learned that Houser allegedly menaced another person during the dispute. Houser was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

• Andrew S. Hodges, 37, no address listed, was charged with two counts each of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. It was alleged that Hodges pushed two people under the age of 17. He was transported to jail for centralized arraignment.

• Ryan L. Cayden, 24, no address listed, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Ellicott police investigated a reported stolen credit card from an address in Celoron. It was alleged that the card was used to purchase more than $1,500 in items before it was found to be missing. An investigation found that Ryan allegedly stole the card and used it at various locations in the town of Ellicott and the city of Jamestown. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

• Jacob A. Feldt, 37, of Celoron, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Police responded to Butler Avenue in Celoron for a reported order of protection violation. It was found that Feldt allegedly violated a valid Family Court order of protection by making third party contact with a protected individual. Feldt was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Town Court.
