LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Miranda E. Evans, 35, of Jamestown, was taken into custody Friday on an active warrant from the Lakewood-Busti Police Department. Evans failed to appear in court multiple times to answer a previous charge. Evans was transported to Chautauqua County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
¯ Buster C. Johnson, no age listed, of Lakewood, was charged with driving while intoxicated, open container in a motor vehicle, unsafe lane change, reckless driving, speeding above state limit and failure to stop at a stop sign. Johnson was taken into custody following a traffic stop Oct. 9.

¯ RANDOLPH — Daniel D. Visker, 37, of Randolph, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. James A. Scotchmer, 38, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant Friday at a Bowen Road residence in the town of Randolph. Visker and Scotchmer are scheduled to appear in Randolph Town Court.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Amie L. Griffith, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. Officers were called at 11:50 a.m. Monday to a north side business on Fluvanna Avenue for a reported domestic dispute. Officers were advised that a female victim had been reportedly struck in the face several times and that the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle to Prendergast Avenue. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and suspect in question. An investigation determined that Griffith allegedly struck the victim several times in the face and body through her vehicle window while also damaging her $500 prescription glasses. Griffith was taken into custody and held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Jill S. Uber, 38, of West Ellicott, was charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers were called to West Ellicott at 7:54 p.m. Sunday for a reported domestic dispute. An investigation found that Uber allegedly prevented another person from calling emergency services by throwing a cell phone outside. Uber also allegedly shoved another person during the incident. Uber was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment
¯ Walter M. Westerdahl, 42, no address listed, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded Wednesday to a reported disturbance at a town of Ellicott residence. An investigation found that Westerdahl was allegedly in violation of a stay away order of protection. He was taken into custody and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
¯ Kayle D. Dean, 20, no address listed, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded Friday to a reported disturbance in the village of Celoron. An investigation found that Dean allegedly put multiple dents into another person’s vehicle. Dean was processed and is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
