LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

¯ John A. Waite was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 11:30 p.m. June 7 after a traffic stop on Big Tree Road near Hunt Road. Police allege Waite was a passenger in the vehicle and had concealed methamphetamine in a bag. Waite will be in Busti Town Court later.

FREDONIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Danielle Braun, 36, of Jamestown, was arrested May 16 and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

¯ William Eppinger, 45, of Fredonia, was arrested May 19 and charged with trespass.

¯ Tiffany Walsh, 31, of Jamestown, was picked up on a bench warrant May 20.

¯ Juan Santiago-Rodriguez, 31, of Dunkirk, was arrested May 21 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

¯ Isiah Sikes, 24, of Dunkirk, was arrested May 24 and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Chelsea Haskins, 31, of Fredonia, was arrested May 25 and charged with second-degree harassment.

¯ Kathryn Callahan, 33, of Fredonia, was arrested May 27 and charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Tamika Thomas, 26, of Fredonia, was arrested May 29 and charged with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

¯ Eric Centner, 43, of Fredonia, was arrested May 30 and charged with second-degree harassment.

¯ Timothy Englant, 36, of Westfield, was arrested June 3 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

¯ Eliana Ribiero, 54, of Dunkirk, was arrested Friday and charged with petit larceny.

¯ Sean Loggans, 40, of Machias, was arrested Friday and charged with petit larceny.

COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

¯ COLD SPRING — A 22-year-old Irving man was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday. Deputies report Cooper W. Gates was driving erratically on Interstate 86 westbound. He was pulled over and faces charges of aggravated DWI, blood alcohol content of more than 0.18 and failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle.

BUFFALO — Melvin Ingram, 45, of Jamestown, who was convicted of escape, was sentenced to serve 12 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford, U.S. Attorney Trini Ross announced Wednesday U.S. Attorneys Raymond J. Fadel, Paul E. Bonanno, and Charles M. Kruly, who are handling the case, said in November 2018, Ingram was sentenced to serve 70 months in prison for conspiring to possess with intent to distribute, and distributing, 28 grams or more of crack cocaine. On May 3, 2022, the Bureau of Prisons transferred Ingram from Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood, in Allenwood, Pa., to a community-based placement at CRJ Lighthouse Residential Reentry Center, in Buffalo. Late in the morning on July 24, 2022, Ingram left the center without permission from the staff. Ingram was arrested by the United States Marshals Service on Nov. 10, 2022. The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the U.S. Marshals Service, under the direction of Marshal Charles Salina and the Federal Bureau of Prisons Residential Reentry Management Office, Pittsburgh.
