JAMESTOWN POLICE
— Samuel A. Williams, 26, of Jamestown has been charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, an aggravated family offense and resisting arrest after an incident at 7 p.m. Saturday. Officers from the were dispatched to the domestic incident inside a moving vehicle, which was later located at 707 E. Second St. An investigation showed Williams remained in the vehicle with two victims who were protected
parties in an order of protection against him. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.
— Lindsay R Voye, 41, was charged with fourth-degree mischief after an incident at a city grocery store. At 3 p.m. Friday, officers responded to Tops Markets on Washington Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke with staff members that who stated a female later Voye was inside of the store throwing food items causing them to be damaged and destroyed. She left the
scene and was located by officers. She was taken into custody and was held pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— MINA — Around 8:50 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a vehicle complaint on Interstate 86. Deputies located the vehicle in question and identified the driver as Briston C. Ashburn, 42, of Masury, Ohio. Through further investigation it was found that Ashburn was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Ashburn was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation. He was later transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned on the charges.
— GERRY — A town resident is facing harassment charges after an incident at 11:10 p.m. Friday. Deputies responded to the incident and found that William F. Harrison, 61, attempted to strike another individual with an object, causing that person to fear physical injury. Harrison was charged with third-degree menacing and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
— PORTAND — At about 1:30 a.m. Friday, deputies stopped a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation. The operator was identified as Michael J. Rylowicz, 46, of Westfield. After an investigation it was determined Rylowicz was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Rylowicz was charged with DWI, DWI per se, and failure to keep right. Rylowicz will be in Town of Portland Court later.
