CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ SILVER CREEK — Tyler G. Crouse, 31, of Silver Creek, was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. An investigation found that Crouse allegedly violated two court orders by possession firearms. Crouse was taken into custody Saturday wihtout incident.

¯ Dwayne Smith, 54, of Kennedy, was charged with second-degree harassment. On March 27, Smith allegedly engaged in a harassing course of conduct and made threats against another party. He is scheduled to appear in Poland Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Javier M. Matos Montanez, no age or address listed, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Patrol stopped a vehicle at 2:14 p.m. Sunday in the area of Prendergast Avenue and Van Buren Street. Montanez was observed walking from the vehicle and gave him numerous orders to stop. Montanez began running from police and was placed into custody soon after at a nearby location. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant. Montanez was processed and released.

¯ Jacob A. Snow, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Patrol at 9:50 p.m. Monday observed a vehicle passing their vehicle on West Third and Spring streets. A passenger was identified as Snow, who had outstanding bench warrants out of Jamestown. The vehicle was stopped and Snow was taken into custody. Snow was later found in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine. He was transported to jail and held for court.

¯ Caden N. Carroll, 29, of Corry, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. Patrol was dispatched at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to the area of Steele and Sprague streets for a well-being check. Carroll had called police dispatch and advised she had been drinking and driving and would wait for officers to arrive on scene. Carroll was later found to have been driving while intoxicated and was twice the legal limit. She was processed and released.

¯ Sarah E. Johnson, 44, of Jamestown, was charged with three counts of fugitive from justice. Johnson was observed at 11:55 p.m. Monday walking in the area of West Second and Cherry streets. Johnson was known to have several warrants for her arrest in Jamestown and Ellicott. Johnson was found to have more warrants in Pennsylvania. She was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

¯ Cassaundra M. Wick, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Patrol responded at 4 p.m. Monday to Tops Markets on Foote Avenue for a reported shoplifting. An investigation found that Wick allegedly damaged store property. She was transported to jail and held for arraignment.
