LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Michael W. Kirk, 37, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI per se and speeding. Kirk was stopped at 5:38 p.m. Wednesday for driving 80 mph in a 55 mph zone on Busti Stillwater Road. He was taken into custody following an investigation and later provided a breath sample of 0.21%. Kirk is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Josh A. Moore, 42, of Jamestown, was charged with being a fugitive from justice. Officers stopped a vehicle at 3:19 a.m. Wednesday on the south side of the city. Moore was seen walking in the area and was found to be wanted in Warren County, Pa. Moore was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident and was held for arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ HANOVER — Deputies and EMS responded at 8:04 p.m. July 30 to Hanover Road in the town of Hanover for a serious crash. The driver, identified as Michael Cagney, 30, of Silver Creek, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Buffalo hospital for treatment.
¯ HANOVER — Scott B. Smith, 59, of Silver Creek, was charged with obstruction of emergency medical services. Deputies, Chautauqua County EMS and Forestville firefighters responded at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday to Route 39 in Hanover for a medical emergency. Prior to deputies arriving, EMS personnel were allegedly obstructed by a bystander. Smith was later taken into custody following an investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court later.
