LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Corin A. Quarles, 37, of Buffalo, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Officers stopped a vehicle at 5:05 p.m. Sunday on East Fairmount Avenue for a vehicle violation and learned there was an active order of protection between the driver and a front seat passenger identified as Quarles. Quarles was issued a ticket to appear in court later.
¯ William D. White, 52, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny. Officers were called at 5:49 p.m. Thursday to Walmart for a reported shoplifting incident and identified White as the suspect. An investigation found that he had an active warrant from the Jamestown Police Department. White was processed on the petit larceny charge and turned over to the Jamestown Police Department.

¯ WESTFIELD — Meaghan A. McBride, 31, of Jamestown, was charged with false personation. Nichodemious N. Tuttle, 30, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree aggravated operation and unlicensed operator. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 6:08 p.m. Sunday in the town of Westfield that was reported stolen from Jamestown. The driver was identified as Tuttle while the passenger reportedly gave a false name but was later identified as McBride. Both were issued tickets to appear in Westfield Town Court later.

¯ Amanda Darling, 26, no address listed, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile phone, operating without insurance, failure to use designated lane, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and unlicensed operation. Officers observed a Jeep Patriot at 6:36 p.m. Wednesday on Allen Street with heavy damage to the front end of the passenger side. The vehicle was stopped on Allen and King streets. An investigation found that Darling was attempting to pick up a dropped cell phone. As a result, the Jeep struck a parked car on Maple Street. Darling left the scene without stopping. It was also found that two juvenile occupants suffered minor injuries. Darling was taken into custody on an active warrant. She was held pending arraignment.
¯ Carlos E. Rivera, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Alejandro Ayala, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of second-degree menacing. Abel Figueroa, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police were notified Sunday of a menacing incident that involved a pistol on Grandin Street on the west side of the city. Police were told that a pistol had been pointed at someone in a vehicle last seen in the downtown area. The vehicle was found on West Sixth and Cherry streets and a loaded revolver was later found inside. Rivera, Ayala and Figueroa were all taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
