Kori Robinson

A Buffalo teen was charged Thursday for allegedly carrying a stolen handgun.

Police said Robinson allegedly discarded a loaded 9 mm handgun during the pursuit. He was apprehended and the weapon recovered and linked to an October burglary in the city.

Robinson was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, obstructing governmental administration and several vehicle and traffic violations. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

On Dec. 13, Robinson was similarly pulled over for a traffic violation on Peach Street near Bowen Street. It is alleged that he didn’t have a driver’s license and was reportedly in possession of crack cocaine and a large amount of cash.

He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and several vehicle and traffic violations.
