JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jamie R. Haer, 42, was charged with no/inadequate exhaust, unregistered motor vehicle, unsafe tire, refusal of breath test, driving while intoxicated and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. On Thursday, at 1:25 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle near Lakeview Avenue and Falconer Street. It is alleged that the driver – Haer – was intoxicated. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Philip M. Ramos Jr., 36, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. On April 21, at 10:09 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Hunt Road for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the driver – Ramos – was in possession of marijuana. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court.

A 17-year-old youth was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, insufficient tail lamp and violation of DJ license. On April 21, at 12:18 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Hunt Road for allegedly having a tail lamp out. It is alleged that the 17-year-old driver was in possession of marijuana and was violating his DJ license privileges. The youth was scheduled to appear in Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Michael J. Wickham of Jamestown was charged with DWI. On April 22, at 3:45 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle near Falconer Frewsburg and Quaint roads for reportedly driving all over the road. It is alleged that the driver – Wickham – was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

GERRY-David A. Spunaugle, 41, of Gerry was charged with felony DWI, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle without interlock device, refusal to submit a roadside breath test and moving from lane unsafely. On Monday, at 1:08 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Gerry-Ellington Road in Gerry for an observed traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Spunaugle – was intoxicated and had a prior DWI conviction in the past 10 years. His driving privileges were also allegedly revoked. He was arraigned in Ellery Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 property bond. He was also scheduled to appear in Gerry Court.

DUNKIRK-Travis Perkins, 39, of Dunkirk was charged with violation of probation. On Wednesday, at 8 p.m., deputies along with the Sheriff’s K9 and Dunkirk police served an arrest warrant at an Antelope Street address in Dunkirk. Perkins reportedly had an active violation of probation warrant out of Chautauqua County Court. He was committed to the county jail.

STATE POLICE

BUSTI-Barry Cassevoy, 59, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Wednesday, Cassevoy was pulled over on Route 394 in Busti for allegedly not wearing his seatbelt. Police reportedly smelled marijuana from the vehicle and allegedly found a pill bottle containing a small amount of marijuana and a pipe containing burnt marijuana. Cassevoy was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Simeon Leeper, 39, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, felony aggravated family offense, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, violation conditional license, improper turn signal and second-degree unlicensed operation. On Thursday, at 7:30 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle near Price and Winsor streets for an observed traffic violation. The driver – Leeper – allegedly had a billy, an illegal weapon. Leeper also allegedly had a suspended license. Leeper was transported to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Stephen P. Amone, 63, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing. On April 21, police responded to a Townline Road address to take a report of a person with a weapon on Strunk Road in Ellicott. It is alleged that Amone threatened another individual working in a field with a pistol. Amone was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Gloria I. Garcia, 33, of Jamestown was charged with disorderly conduct. On Monday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office court security deputy assigned to the building made the arrest following an incident that occurred in the reception area. It is alleged that Garcia made verbal threats of physical violence toward a Department of Health and Human Services employee. The employee pressed charges for the incident. Garcia was taken into custody for processing and later released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT – Brandon T. Himes, 19, of Ellicott was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, unregistered motor vehicle, failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. On Sunday, at 1:07 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Fluvanna Avenue in Ellicott for multiple lane violations. It is alleged that the driver – Himes – was intoxicated. He was issued tickets to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – A 17-year-old youth was charged with criminal possession of a firearm. On April 17, at 6:25 p.m., deputies responded to an investigation of a suspicious situation in Ripley. It is alleged that the 17-year-old illegally possessed a revolver-style firearm. The youth was scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Howard T. Ownbey, 45, of Kennedy,was charged with first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation and felony DWI. On Friday at approximately 10:29 p.m., officers responded to the area of 10 Eagle St. for a reported fight involving several subjects attempting to kick down the door of a residence. While en route, officers learned the alleged suspects were attempting to flee the area in a vehicle. The suspect vehicle was located on Willard Street and Anderson Street. The officers observed a traffic infraction and conducted a traffic stop. Further investigation found the driver, Ownbey, to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. A driver’s license check of Ownbey found that his operating privileges had been revoked due to a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years, which made the arrest a felony. Ownbey was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the city jail where he awaits arraignment. Ownbey was charged with first-degree felony aggravated unlicenced operation, felony DWI, operating a vehicle without an interlock device, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, open container and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Braden M. Ryan, 37, was charged with DWI, DWI Per Se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and refusal to take a breath test on April 15. It was alleged Ryan was involved in a road rage incident with another vehicle on April 15. He was located at 167 W. Fairmount Ave. and was parked in a parking lot. It was alleged Ryan was driving while intoxicated during the encounter with the other motorist. He was then arrested and taken to Lakewood-Busti Police Department. Ryan was later released with an appearance ticket to appear in Busti Court on a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY

SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Ally M. Wanatee, 23, of 259 Front Ave., Salamanca, was charged after deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department responded to a one-vehicle crash on Hodge and Chautauqua roads in Sinclairville. Upon arrival, deputies observed a white SUV that had struck some trees on the north side of Chautauqua Road. Further investigation revealed Wanatee as the driver, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving without an interlock device, driving with a revoked license and failing to stop at a stop sign. She will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

Donald R. Anderson, 40, of Bemus Point, was charged with DWI and DWI per se after driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or higher. On Saturday at 12:56 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies on patrol stopped to check a vehicle parked on Route 394 in the town of North Harmony. Deputies spoke with the operator, who identified himself as Anderson. Further investigation found that Anderson was intoxicated while operating the vehicle. He was arrested and given the charges for allegedly driving while intoxicated and parking on pavement. Anderson was processed and released with citations directing him to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Paul D. Martinez, 51, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On April 18, at 4:30 p.m., police responded to a reported shoplifting at CVS, located at 19 S. Main St. It is alleged that Martinez stole two cans of beer from the store. Police located him in the Tim Hortons parking lot and transported him to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Peter D. Torres-Tappla, 25, and Ashley A. Torres-Tappla, 28, were charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. On Monday, at 5:30 p.m., police received a report of several children operating dirt bikes in the road in the area of 50 School Ave. in West Ellicott. When police approached the home, Peter Torres-Tappla allegedly exited the front door with a strong odor of marijuana. The children were ages 3, 5 and 7. Both Torres-Tappla and the children’s mother – Ashley Torres-Tappla – were charged and arraigned in Ellicott Court. They were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shawn M. Garrett, 34, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and criminal mischief. The charges stem from a Dec. 23 incident, in which Garrett was allegedly located with a black airsoft gun in his pants. It is alleged that the gun was stolen from Wal-Mart. Garrett was scheduled to appear in Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – A 17-year-old male from Silver Creek was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On April 14, at 2 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle in Hanover for an observed traffic infraction. It is alleged that the 17-year-old driver had a small quantity of marijuana. The 17-year-old was scheduled to appear in Hanover Court.

POMFRET – Kristen L. Surrena, 26, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to stop at stop sign and moving from lane unsafely. On April 14, at 2:03 a.m., deputies pulled over a driver for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign on Porter Road in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver – Surrena – was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jonah K. Warner, 23, of Sinclairville was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, at 12:30 a.m., police responded to a reported shoplifter at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 19 S. Main St. It is alleged that Warner attempted to steal merchandise from the store. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Steven D. Kent, 38, of Falconer was charged with second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Kent recently contacted a local business and asked to speak to an employee. He reportedly kept on calling after being told to stop numerous times. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

James D. Taylor, 57, of Falconer was charged with second-degree harassment. Police responded to a recent neighbor dispute, where it is alleged that Taylor shoved and struck his neighbor. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

Dannon E. Pischera 19, of Kennedy was charged with assault. On April 14, at 3:30 a.m., police responded to a reported assault in progress that allegedly involved Pischera. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Debbie L. Hires, 48, and Randall J. Rollson, 52, both of Jamestown, were charged with petit larceny. On Saturday, it was reported by Loss Prevention staff at Wegmans that Hires and Rollson allegedly stole items from the store. They were both issued tickets to appear at Ellicott Court.

Brian C. Swartz, 31, of Falconer was charged following a domestic dispute. It is alleged that Swartz damaged property while engaged in a verbal argument with a victim. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Gary T. White, 58, of Lakewood was charged with third-degree assault. On April 7, a female victim came to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department to report that she was injured during a domestic incident with White on March 16. The victim alleged that White slammed her fingers between a door and injured her hand during an argument. White was charged on April 13 and arraigned in Busti Court.

Jodi L. Gilbert, 32, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Gilbert was reportedly employed by the Lakewood Wal-Mart as a cashier in February. During that time, it is alleged that she stole $417 worth of merchandise from the store. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HARMONY – Alan K. Miller, 25, of Findley Lake, received several charges Sunday. At approximately 2 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a vehicle striking a house and fleeing the scene. Deputies located the operator of the vehicle, who was identified as Miller. Miller was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. After processing, Miller was released with appearance tickets. He will appear in Harmony Town Court at a later date to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies were assisted by Lakewood-Busti Police Department and Panama Fire Department.

BROCTON – Daniel M. Deppa, 34, of Cheektowaga, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, speed in zone and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At 2:56 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the village of Brocton. Deputies stopped the vehicle and the driver was identified as Deppa. After a brief investigation, Deppa was taken into custody and charged accordingly. Deppa was issued appearance tickets and will appear in Brocton Village Court at a later date to answer to the above charges.

CLYMER – Willis D. Byler, 20, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 1:21 a.m., deputies located a vehicle parked on the side of Clymer-Sherman Road with the operator asleep in the driver’s seat. The operator was later identified as Byler. After an investigation, it was determined that Byler was intoxicated and had operated his vehicle while intoxicated. Byler was taken into custody and charged accordingly. Byler will answer the charges in Clymer Town Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Jason R. Reed, 45, of Jamestown was charged with DWI per se, DWI common law, speed in zone and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Monday, at 12:52 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle after observing a traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver – Reed – was intoxicated and in possession of marijuana. He was issued appearance tickets for Ellery Court.

RIPLEY-Dotty G. Woollett, 57, of Ripley was transported to Westfield Memorial Hospital on Saturday after reportedly falling off the back of an ATV in the woods off of East Side Hill Road in Ripley. She sustained only minor injuries.

ARKWRIGHT-James Bielat Sr., 62, of Fredonia was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt. On April 12, at 4:55 a.m., deputies responded to Straight Road in Arkwright for a reported altercation. It is alleged that Bielat hit another individual in the face. Hw was arraigned and committed to the county jail without bail.

FREDONIA-A 16-year-old female was charged with disorderly conduct. On April 8, at 8:50 a.m., a 16-year-old female was approached by a principal in regard to a school bus incident where she would be serving time in school suspension. The female allegedly started to use vulgar language and created a disturbance within a public place. Deputies issued an appearance ticket.

HANOVER-Frank W. Kiley III, 42, of Angola was charged with second-degree grand larceny, second-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree criminal mischief. On March 28, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen excavator from a job site on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover. The excavator was subsequently located and returned to the owner on March 29. An investigation determined that Kiley allegedly removed the excavator from the job site and transported it to another location in Hanover without the owner’s permission. Kiley turned himself into Hanover Court.

HANOVER-Tanya M. Boyd, 36, of Dunkirk was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to dim lights. On April 8, at 12:53 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle after observing a traffic infraction on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover. It is alleged that the driver – Boyd – was in possession of marijuana. She was released with citations.

WESTFIELD-Brenda L. Horr, 36, of Westfield was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. On April 7, at 4:24 p.m., deputies along with Westfield police responded to an altercation on South Gale Street in Westfield. It was alleged that Horr took a large butcher knife and held it to another individual’s throat. She also allegedly broke property and struck another individual. She was arraigned in Westfield Court and committed to the county jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Xiomara Mercado, 39, of Jamestown, was arrested at 1:19 a.m., Saturday, after officers were dispatched to the 7-Eleven store at 518 N. Main St. for the report of a female shoplifter. It is alleged Mercado stole beer and fled the scene on foot, eastbound on East Sixth Street. Officers searched the area and located Mercado a short distance away where she was identified by store employees as the person who committed the larceny. She was placed under arrest for petit larceny and transported to the City Jail without incident.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

SILVER CREEK – Quintin P. Jones, 37, of Silver Creek was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation after an alleged incident at his residence, 38 Main St., Silver Creek, on April 10. Jones fled the scene prior to the arrival of Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies, so an arrest warrant was obtained from the Village of Silver Creek Court. Jones was located at his home on April 13 and was taken into custody without incident. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail with bail after arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Andrew J. Cooley of Jamestown was charged with aggravated Family Offense and second-degree criminal contempt. On Tuesday, at 11:27 a.m., police responded to 7 Lincoln St. for a reported order of protection violation. Inside the residence, police located Cooley, who allegedly had a valid order of protection from the Jamestown City Court to stay away from a victim inside. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.

Matthew Taft, 38, of Bemus Point was charged with failure to dim headlights, failure to signal stopping, no stopping/standing/parking on highway, refusal to take breath test and felony driving while intoxicated. On Sunday, at 2:55 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of East Fourth Street and Church Street. It is alleged that the driver-Taft-was intoxicated. He reportedly refused to submit a chemical breath test at the police department. It is also alleged that Taft had a prior DWI conviction within the previous 10 years. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Julio Juan Rondon, 22, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, at 2:20 p.m., Rondon was charged after allegedly stealing $39.88 of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ASHVILLE – Randy D. Lawergren, 59, of Ashville was charged with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct. On April 6, at 2:35 p.m., deputies responded to 5777 Button Valley Road to assist a social worker with a welfare check. It is alleged that Lawergren began threatening the social worker and attempted to physically attack him. It is also alleged that Lawergran began threatening to kill the deputy and began screaming and swearing. He was eventually taken into custody and committed to the county jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.

ASHVILLE – Jacob R. Chamberlain, 18, of Ashville was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to signal turn. On Saturday at 11:34 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for an alleged traffic infraction on Linden Street in Ashville. It is alleged that the driver – Chamberlain – was in possession of a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was issued tickets to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Jay Campbell, 48, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, petit larceny and fifth-degree welfare fraud. On Friday, at 11:45 a.m., Campbell was served appearance tickets for charges related to welfare fraud. It is alleged that Campbell filed a HEAP application which contained false information; resulting in $450 of unentitled HEAP benefits being paid. Campbell is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court on May 5 for arraignment on the charges.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Patrick L. Bickford, 42, of Smethport, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed in 55 mph zone. On Saturday at 1:44 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on West Chautauqua Street in the town of Chautauqua for a speed violation. The operator was identified as Bickford and investigation found him to be reportedly intoxicated. A check of Bickford’s driving record showed that his privilege to operate a motor vehicle in New York had been suspended. After processing, he was released with traffic tickets and will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD – Brandon L. Swartz, 18, of Jamestown, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Police said Swartz was employed as a cashier at the Lakewood Wal-Mart from January to March. During this time, the store reportedly flagged him for suspicious transaction activity. Further investigation alleged that Swartz would give unscanned merchandise to customers. He would also allegedly scan merchandise, void the purchase and give the merchandise back to customers. Swartz reportedly didn’t take any money for the merchandise. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court.

BUSTI – Michael M. Moyer, 27, was charged with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se on Friday after police pulled a vehicle over at 12:15 a.m. on Busti-Sugargrove in Busti for traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon further investigation, officers allege that Moyer was driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and later released with an appearance ticket for Town of Busti Court.

LAKEWOOD – Katy L. Tolbott, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief on Thursday. It is alleged that Tolbott selected several items of merchandise and passed the last point of sale without paying for them at Wal-Mart in Lakewood. It is also alleged that Tolbott damaged some of the merchandise by removing an item from packaging, making it unfit for sale. She was released and given an appearance ticket for the Town of Busti Court on April 14 to answer to the charges.

LAKEWOOD – Lisandro M. Sanchez, 35, was charged with larceny after a police investigation into the alleged theft of two iPads from Wal-Mart in Lakewood. It was reported the Sanchez took the iPads on March 28. He was held in Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Town of Busti Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD -Britiani J. Platt, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny on Friday. Around 3:15 p.m., police responded to Wal-Mart in Lakewood after it was alleged Platt stole a pair of shoes valued at $22.42. She was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

FALCONER – Jack A. Loucks of 8 N. Down St., Apt. 4, Falconer, was charged with Larceny after Ellicott Police responded to a local business on March 30 for a shoplifter. It was reported that Loucks hid several items in his coat and left the store without paying for them. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court at a later date.

FALCONER – Heidi S. Waite-Coone, 34, of 212 W. Everette St., Falconer, was charged with disorderly conduct. On April 1 at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers with the Ellicott Police Department responded to the residence to check the well-being of a female for an unknown problem. It is alleged that Waite-Coone used abusive and obscene language. She was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500/$1,000 bail and is due to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer to the charge. An investigation into the incident continues.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MACHIAS – Debra M. Davis, 57, of 620 Yaht Club Drive, was arrested after an investigation by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and the Southern Tier Drug Task Force into the manufacturing of methamphetamine. On March 21 at 6 p.m., Davis was taken into custody and charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory following the investigation. She was arraigned at the Town of Machias Court and transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail with bail set at $50,000.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Taija C. Pettit, 26, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On March 31, at 5:45 p.m., Pettit allegedly stole $94.33 in Red Bull and clothing from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Chad M. Swan, 26, of Kennedy was charged with second-degree harassment. On Monday, at 10 a.m., Swan was charged at 1508 Big Tree Road after a reported domestic dispute. It is alleged that Swan shoved a female victim twice, once into a door frame. Swan was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Barbara Dale, 19, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On April 1, at 8:10 p.m., Dale was charged after allegedly stealing jewelry, health and beauty products and clothing valued at $101.93 from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was issued as appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Brianna L. Anthony, 19, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Saturday, at 6:45 p.m., Anthony was charged after allegedly stealing beauty products from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Eloiza Millan, 51, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On April 1, at 6:15 p.m., Millan was charged after allegedly stealing pet products, health and beauty products and shrimp valued at $105.68 from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Millan was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court at a later date.

Jack A. Loucks of Falconer was charged with larceny. On March 30, police responded to a local business for a reported shoplifter in custody. It is alleged that Loucks hid several items in his coat and attempted to leave the business.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ian R. Anderson, 43, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with unlawful imprisonment, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 7:42 a.m., officers arrived at 516 E. Second St. for a reported physical domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke to Anderson and a female victim. Investigation found that Anderson allegedly physically restrained and struck the female victim, preventing her from leaving the residence. During the incident, Anderson allegedly took the victim’s phone to prevent her from contacting police for help. He also allegedly damaged several family heirlooms that belonged to the victim. Anderson was transported to Jamestown City Jail without further incident and is currently awaiting arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

BUSTI – Steven M. Maloy, 31, of Ashville was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to keep right and inadequate tail lights. At 12:34 a.m., a patrol officer observed a vehicle with inadequate tail lights crossing the center lines of the roadway on Baker Street Extension. Upon further investigation, the operator, Maloy, was found to be allegedly intoxicated, in possession of marijuana and have a suspended New York state driver’s license. He is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Nicholas J. Kanaby, 37, of Falconer was charged with sexual abuse. Police reportedly received a complaint about a young child allegedly being abuses while in the care of Kanaby. Investigators interviews the child and determined that Kanaby allegedly touched the child sexually during a recent visit. Kanaby was taken into custody at a local business, arraigned in Ellicott Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

DRUG TASK FORCE

SALAMANCA-John A. Lee, 45, of Salamanca was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. The charges were filed after a lengthy investigation by members of the task force and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. Lee was committed to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
