LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jamie M. Nixon, of Panama, Shannon L. DeJesus, 28, of Panama, Nicholas R. Glover, 27, of Jamestown and Lacey L. Glover, 29, of Jamestown were all charged Monday with disorderly conduct. At 2:04 p.m., police were dispatched to the Lakewood Wal-Mart for a fight in the parking lot. Investigation revealed that the four above individuals engaged in violent and threatening behavior that caused a public annoyance. They will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Tammy Beaujean, 49, of Mayville was charged Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to yield right of way and inadequate brakes. At 4:37 p.m., Beaujean was allegedly testing her brakes on her driveway, when they suddenly failed to work. She entered the roadway and struck a vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries. Beaujean will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

STATE POLICE

KIANTONE – Vicky L. Kelwaski, 54, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, consuming alcohol in a vehicle and unsafe backing after a traffic stop on Route 62 in Kiantone for unsafe backing. Upon interviewing Kelwaski, police detected an odor of alcohol was detected and conducted field sobriety tests. Kelwaski was transported to state police in Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .10 was obtained. She will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

GERRY – Jason C. Bang, 43, of Kiantone was charged Friday with aggravated driving while intoxicated after he drove up to a road check being conducted on Route 60 in Gerry, having an adult and a two-year-old passenger in the car. The odor of alcohol was detected and after field tests, Bang was placed under arrest for DWI. He was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .12 was obtained. Bang will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Timmie D. Brown, 37, of Jamestown was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At 3:21 p.m., officers were dispatched to 630 E. Second St. for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Brown and a female victim. Further investigation determined that Brown threw a frying pan to the floor, causing the glass lid to shatter. There were two 6-month-old children in close proximity and one was struck with broken glass. No injuries resulted. Brown was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Justin Swartz, 34, of Falconer was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment after police responded to a domestic dispute at 2602 Second Ave. in Falconer. Investigation revealed that Swartz made unwanted physical contact by grabbing a victim. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Ashley M. Johnson, 26, of Falconer was charged on July 17 with petit larceny. Police were notified by the manager of CVS in Falconer that a shoplifting incident occurred. Surveillance footage identified Johnson. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHARLOTTE – Lucille Frazita, 84, of Dunkirk was charged Sunday with failure to keep right. At 5:15 p.m., Frazita was northbound on Route 60 when her vehicle went off the west side of the road, down an embankment and struck a utility pole. Frazita was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. She will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NORTH HARMONY – Michael E. Marple, 59, of East Amherst was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct. Around 1 a.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of a suspicious situation on Route 394. Following an investigation, it was alleged Marple had engaged in a physically offensive act. Marple was arrested, charged and issued an appearance ticket for North Harmony Town Court.

HANOVER – John P. Ploss, 41, of Waterford, Pa. was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to use a turning signal. Around 1 a.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies stopped a vehicle for observed traffic violations on Routes 5 and 20. Investigation led to Ploss being intoxicated at the time. He was processed and released to appear in Hanover Town Court on a later date.

HANOVER – Rhonda A. Weisenburg, 55, of Orchard Park was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign and unlawful possession of marijuana. At around 11:53 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the town. The vehicle was stopped and upon further investigation it was found that Weisenburg was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and in possession of marijuana. Weisenburg will appear in Hanover Town Court on a later date.

MAYVILLE – Jordan W. Hull, 57, of Mayville was charged Saturday for unlawfully dealing with fireworks. At approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies were patrolling in the village when fireworks were heard being set off in the area. After an investigation, it was alleged that Hull was setting off fireworks at his residence. Hull was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Annice A. Gilbert, 26, of Bradford, Pa. was charged Friday with fourth- and fifth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny and five counts of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree. Gilber is accused to continuing to collect Child Care Assistance when her job had already ended as well as fraudulently obtaining HEAP at her residence from January to September 2013. Gilbert received $1,005 in Child Care Assistance and $585 in HEAP she was not entitled to. Gilbert was issued an appearance ticket for Olean City Court.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – John A. Dugrenier, 53, of Hume was charged Thursday on violation of a probation warrant after being charged with driving while intoxicated. His status is pending.

CARROLLTON – Robert J. Bennett, 42, of Limestone was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, no/inadequate headlamps and unlicensed operator. At 9 p.m., deputies pulled over Bennett after several alleged traffic infractions. He will appear in Carrollton Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS – Daniel P. Lenahan, 22, of Cattaraugus was charged Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 11:45 p.m., deputies responded to an unwanted person complaint on Route 353 in New Albion. Lenahan was located walking on the shoulder of Route 353 near his residence. He told deputies he had a bottle of pills. He will appear in New Albion Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS-Michael K. Beeler, 29, of Cattaraugus was charged on July 9 with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child. He will appear in New Albion Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

DEPARTMENT

Giovanni Batista, 22, of Erie, Pa., was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to keep right. At 5:36 a.m., officers pulled over a vehicle on Foote Avenue near Partridge Street for failing to keep right. Investigation revealed that the driver – Batista – was intoxicated. He was transported to the city jail and found to have a blood alcohol content over the legal limit. He is currently awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kris James, 54, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and following too closely. At 3:11 p.m., Jamestown police and fire officials responded to a personal-injury car accident at the intersection of East Second and Buffalo streets. Investigation revealed that a 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck allegedly rear-ended a 2004 Saturn Ion. The driver of the Saturn and her two passengers were slightly injured. James was found to be intoxicated with a blood alcohol content more than .08 percent. He was transported to city jail on $500.

Elba I. Figueroa, 35, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree menacing. At 4:16 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Forest Avenue at McKinley Avenue for a domestic incident. It was determined that Figueroa had a domestic dispute with a male victim at 35 McKinley Ave., Apartment 2. Figueroa allegedly threatened the victim with a knife, causing the victim to flee the apartment. Figueroa then went outside and broke a mirror off of the victim’s vehicle. She was transported to the city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Rocco A. Beardsley of Falconer was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal contempt of court. It is alleged that Beardsley struck/kicked a male in the presence of a young child. Investigation also revealed that Beardsley was in violation of a valid order of protection issued by Jamestown. Beardsley will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Darin L. Butts, 21, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with first-degree unlawful dealing with a child and unlawful possession of marijuana. Jordan Thomas, 19, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage with intent to consume by person under 21. A 17-year-old youth from Jamestown was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage with intent to consume by person under 21. At 12:34 a.m., Butts was pulled over for speeding on Route 430 in Chautauqua. Investigation revealed that several individuals inside the vehicle were under 21 and in possession of alcohol. Butts was also found in possession of marijuana. All will appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ALLEGANY – Andrew Brooks, 22, of North Carolina was apprehended Wednesday on a Family Court warrant. At 8:55 p.m., a sheriff’s patrol acting on an anonymous tip, discovered Brooks staying at a home on Chestnut Street in Allegany. Brooks had an active Cattaraugus County Family Court warrant. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.

SALAMANCA – Jessie M. Bryant, 22, of Great Valley was charged Thursday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate headlamps. At 12:02 a.m., a Sheriff’s Patrol on Broad Street in Salamanca pulled over Bryant’s vehicle after noticing it had only one headlight. Investigation revealed that Bryant’s driver’s license was suspended out of Chautauqua County for failure to appear to a summons. He will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

ASHFORD – Joseph C. Martin, 38, of Albany, Ga., was charged Wednesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed in zone following a traffic stop on Route 219 in Ashford. Investigation revealed that Martin’s driving privileges had been suspended. He was remanded to the county jail on $1,000 bail. He will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Gregory M. Messere Jr., 18, of Celoron was charged Tuesday with two counts of fourth-degree larceny, two counts of third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and traffic infractions. At 3:15 a.m., police received a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Town Line Road in the area of Moon Road. Upon arrival, officers found an unoccupied Chevrolet dump truck in a ditch on the west side of the road. While officers were checking the area for the driver, a second call was received from a Town Line Road residence reporting a prowler going through a vehicle. Officers then found another Chevrolet pickup truck in a ditch about a half -mile down the road from the first accident. With the assistance of K-9 Drago and the New York State Police, Messere was located a short distance from the scene and taken into custody. He was transported to WCA Hospital for minor injuries. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – A 16-year-old female youth from Buffalo was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. A 17-year-old female youth from Ransomville was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. A 17-year-old female youth from Newfane was charged Tuesday with disobeying a traffic control device and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 3:12 p.m., deputies were on patrol in Sunset Bay when a vehicle was observed committing a traffic violation on South Shore Drive. Deputies pulled over the vehicle and found three female youths occupying the vehicle. Investigation determined that they were in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. They will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

GOWANDA – James P. Braasch, 23, of Lake View was charged Friday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and inadequate plate lamp. At 10 p.m., deputies pulled over Braasch after observing numerous traffic violations. Further investigation revealed that he had a revoked driver’s license. He will appear in Persia Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS – Donald L. Beckman II, 30, of Randolph was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment and first-degree criminal contempt after he attempted to contact his ex-girlfriend’s cellphone using a blocked number in violation of an order of protection. He will appear in Albion Court at a later date.

PORTVILLE – Keenan Linn, 25, of Portville was charged Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. At 11 p.m., Linn allegedly had a domestic incident at his residence with his grandfather and brother. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500 bail.

MACHIAS – Thomas J. Archer, 19, of Machias was charged on July 3 with endangering the welfare of a child after an investigation from a domestic occurred. He will appear in Machias Court at a later date.

LYNDON – Robert G. Rote, 22, of Olean was charged on July 3 with possession of fireworks after police responded to a complaint of an underage drinking party on King Lane in Lyndon. Nobody was found to be drinking underage, but Rote was in possession of fireworks.

ALLEGANY-Dawn M. Bennett, 21, of Olean was charged on July 3 with speed in zone, unlicensed operation and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 3:45 p.m., Bennett was pulled over for speeding and found to have no driver’s license and revoked driving privileges. She was arraigned in Allegany Court and released after posting $125 bail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

An unidentified 18-year-old from Jamestown was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 2 a.m., officers noticed suspicious individuals in the area of 39 S. Main St. When officers stopped and talked with them, an 18-year-old was allegedly found in possession of a switchblade knife and a quantity of marijuana. He was transported to the city jail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Daniel S. Geiger, 22, of Westfield was charged on June 6 with petit larceny. It is alleged that Geiger stole a knife from a family member and then sold it. He was picked up on an outstanding arrest warrant and remanded to the county jail on bail.

Jason D. Gugino, 23, of Dunkirk was charged on June 8 with fifth-degree arson, second-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree conspiracy. On June 8, police responded to a camping area off of Route 380 to investigate damage to county-owned property. Gugino was picked up on a warrant and remanded to the county jail.

Daniel L. Smouse, 49, of Panama was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct. Police were called to the Home Depot at 935 Fairmount Ave. for a disorderly male in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers located Smouse, who allegedly had a verbal argument with two females in the parking lot over a parking issue. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Michael J. Patterson of Jamestown was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief for allegely puncturing the tires of an Ellicott resident. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Philip D. Demambro, 72, of Sherman was charged Sunday with speeding, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 5:17 p.m., Demambro was pulled over by deputies for speeding. It is alleged that he was driving while intoxicated. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

CLYMER – Cheryl A. Cole, 58, of Panama was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater, moving from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable or prudent. At 8:28 p.m., deputies came across a vehicle in a ditch on Waits Corners Road. The driver – Cole – appeared to be in a intoxicated state. She will appear in Clymer Court at a later date.

CASSADAGA – Shawn A. Cavender, 45, of Cassadaga was charged Sunday with criminal mischief. At 4:10 p.m., Cavender was involved in a dispute in which he damaged a sliding door at a residence. He was committed to the county jail and will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

DEPARTMENT

Beverly J. Sisk, 61, has been charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration following an incident Sunday morning. At approximately 3:30 a.m., an officer on patrol heard loud noises coming from the area of West Sixth and Cherry streets. During investigation, a group of people were observed in the entrance area of the Prendergast Library. The group were identified, and it was found that one of the group members had a valid warrant from Jamestown City Court. As officers approached the individual, Sisk stepped between the officers and the individual and refused to move – preventing officers from detaining the individual. Both Sisk and the individual were taken into custody, and she was charged.

Jeremiah L. Ferrell, 22, has been charged Sunday morning following police investigation into a report of a suspicious male in the area of the Chautauqua County Sports Hall of Fame. At approximately 5:02 a.m., police arrived on location and found Ferrell on the corner of West Third and Cherry streets, and spoke with him regarding the incident. Officers spoke with two witnesses, who stated Ferrell sprayed lighter fluid on the ground near the Hall of Fame building, and attempted to light it with a lighter. Ferrell was also found to be in possession of a bottle of lighter fluid in his backpack. He was charged with reckless endangerment of property and transported to city jail, where he was held pending arraignment.

Robert L. Barr Jr., 42, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration following an incident that occurred Friday. At approximately 11:13 p.m., police attempted to street check Barr at the intersection of Todd and McDaniel avenues. Barr was wanted outside the city of Jamestown on outstanding felony warrants. After being told to stop, Barr fled on foot. Police K-9 unit was used to track Barr to 25 McDaniel Ave. Police set up a perimeter, and located Barr hiding in a bathroom inside the residence. He was charged without incident, and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

Emmanuel Diaz, 22, has been charged following a domestic violence incident Friday. At approximately 7:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to Water Street to investigate the reported incident. Upon investigation, it was determined that Diaz had pushed a female victim to the ground, and ripped her shirt before fleeing the scene. Officers were able to locate Diaz in the area, and he was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. He was transported to Jamestown City Holding Facility, and is being held pending arraignment.

Gregory D. Long, 37, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass Saturday after officers responded to an address on Wescott Street for a disorderly male. Upon arrival, officers located Long and a female victim. It was determined that he had kicked in the front door, and entered the residence unlawfully. Long was charged and transported to Jamestown City Holding Facility.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WESTFIELD – Matthew Jaynes, 33, and Leonard Erhard, 36, both of Ripley, were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny following an incident of theft occurring earlier this month. On July 4, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted investigation into the larceny of a large spool of aluminum wire that was stolen from Forest Park. The wire was intended to be used in an upcoming project. Upon further investigation, it was found that Jaynes and Erhard had stolen the wire from the park before the project was started. They were both charged, and will appear in Westfield Town Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT – Anthony C. Neubauer, 28, of Falconer, received multiple charges following an incident that occurred Saturday. At approximately 9:18 p.m., deputies on routine patrol observed a vehicle parked on the eastern Interstate 86 off ramp at Strunk Road, and another vehicle parked on the western ramp with its flashers on. Deputies stopped to check on the drivers of both vehicles. Through a brief investigation, deputies allege that Neubauer was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He was also found to be in possession of a vial containing what is alleged to be steroids. After further processing, he was released with uniform traffic tickets for parking on highway, and was charged with unlicensed operation of a vehicle, driving while intoxicated, felony DWI and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Neubauer will appear in Ellicott Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA – Darin L. Butts, 21, of Jamestown, received multiple charges following a traffic stop in the town of Chautauqua Sunday morning. At approximately 12:34 a.m., deputies stopped Butts on Route 430 for speeding. He was found to have a suspended New York state driver’s license. He had been stopped and issued tickets for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed in zone two nights prior. Butts was issued tickets for third-degree aggravated operation, speeding and unlicensed operation. Further charges are pending.

BEMUS POINT – Aislyn G. Carlson, 27, of Lakewood, received multiple charges following a traffic stop Friday. At approximately 11:36 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for having inadequate headlights on Main Street in Bemus Point. The operator was identified as Carlson, who was determined to have been operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater, inadequate headlights and unlicensed operator. Carlson was released, and will appear in Ellery Town Court at a later date.

ARKWRIGHT – Jason Hamby, 42, of Sanborn, was charged Saturday following police investigation of a report of a disorderly person. At approximately 8:03 a.m., deputies responded to an address on Burnham Hollow Road in response to the report. The owner of the property advised deputies that Hamby had been asked to leave, and allegedly refused, to leave. Hamby was removed from the property, and was issued an appearance ticket for trespass. He will answer the charge in Arkwright Town Court at a later date.

KIANTONE – Larry P. Babcock Jr., 31, was charged following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 2:20 a.m., patrol stopped a vehicle on Foote Avenue after noticing that it was riding on the rim of a blown front tire. There also appeared to be fresh collision damage and mud on the front end of the vehicle, which was leaking a significant amount of antifreeze. When deputies approached the operator of the vehicle, it was observed that the vehicle’s airbags had deployed and the operator – Babcock – was injured. An ambulance was called to the scene to evaluate Babcock, and medics determined that he was going to be flown by Starflight Helicopter to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. Deputies located a crash site on Foote Avenue Extension in the town of Kiantone, where Babcock drove off the road and struck an earth embankment. Parts of Babcock’s vehicle were located at the site, verifying the location. Deputies interviewed Babcock at Hamot and, following the investigation, Babcock was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic infractions, including moving from lane unsafely and operating on an unsafe tire. Babcock’s injuries are determined to be non-life threatening, and he was in stable condition. He will answer the charges in Kiantone Town Court at a later date.

MINA – Skyler E. Liddell, 20, of Ellery, was charged with no turn signal, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se following a traffic stop on Friday. At approximately 2:40 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle near Hazen Road for failing to signal a turn. The operator was identified as Liddell, who was determined to be intoxicated. Liddell will appear in Mina Town Court to answer the charges at a later date.

DUNKIRK – Raymond Santiago-Rodriguez, 40, of Dunkirk, was charged following a reported incident of shoplifting Friday. At 11:12 p.m., deputies responded to Tops Markets on Vineyard Drive for a possible shoplifting in progress. Deputies observed subjects matching the description of the suspects leaving the store. As deputies approached a male subject, he attempted to flee the area on foot. After a foot pursuit, deputies were able to take Santiago-Rodriguez into custody, and found him in possession of nearly $650 worth of stolen merchandise. He was charged with petit larceny and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and was committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.

SILVER CREEK – Nicole R. Stalter, 29, of Fredonia, and Douglas M. Taft Jr., 23, of Dunkirk, have been charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Friday, deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Bennett-State Road in the town of Hanover. The vehicle was stopped on Burgess Street in the village of Silver Creek, and the driver was identified as Stalter. Through an investigation, it was determined that Stalter and her passenger, Taft, were in possession of several hydrocodone pills and a small quantity of marijuana. Stalter and Taft were issued appearance tickets and charged, and will appear in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date. Stalter was also issued a traffic ticket for speed in zone, and will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

GERRY – Scott Anderson, 45, of Hinsdale, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Saturday after allegedly violating an order of protection. He was issued an appearance ticket, and will answer the charge in Gerry Town Court.

HANOVER – John F. Gotowka, 35, of Greece, received multiple charges following a traffic stop Saturday. At approximately 3:52 p.m., deputies observed an all-terrain vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of King and Dennison roads, and continue eastbound on King Road. A traffic stop was performed on the vehicle, and its operator was identified as Gotowka. An investigation determined that Gotowka’s driving privileges had been revoked, and he was also in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating an unregistered vehicle, operating without insurance, driving without a license and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket, and will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA – Lucille A. Halsaver, 68, of Salamanca was charged on June 29 at 12:38 p.m. with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation due to an insurance lapse. She will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

GREAT VALLEY – Raymond E. King, 53, of Salamanca, was charged on June 27 at 9:30 p.m. with driving while intoxicated, unlicensed operator and failure to maintain lane. He will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA – Andrew J. Jaquish, 28, of Killbuck was charged on June 24 with fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree criminal contempt, two counts of second-degree menacing and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Jaquish was arrested after he stole a truck from Great Valley and drove it to Salamanca where he ended up in a domestic incident with a female victim. Jaquish allegedly pointed a bow and arrow at her and another female victim. He then left the area and later threatened one of the female victims on the phone. Deputies found Jaquish walking on Route 417 in Killbuck. He was transported to Little Valley Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. He will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.

FREEDOM – Darin Wierzbic, 33, of Freedom was charged on July 5 with fourth-degree criminal mischief and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:26 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence on Route 98 in Sandusky for a domestic disturbance involving Wierzbic and a female. Wierzbic allegedly damaged a window screen and window molding in an attempt to gain entry to the residence after being locked out. Wierzbic was apprehended and found to be in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Freedom Court on a later date.

SALAMANCA – Sharon L. John, 54, of Salamanca, was charged on July 5 at 8:14 a.m. with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and failure to maintain lane after the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of an erratic driver on 417 Carrollton, continuing onto I-86.

ALLEGANY – Jake R. Rickey, 19, of Olean, was charged on July 2 at 6:15 p.m. with petit larceny after he stole $45.21 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. He will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

ALLEGANY – Russell S. Tallentire, 24, of Bradford, Pa., was charged on June 30 at 2:30 p.m. with petit larceny following a shoplifting incident at the Allegany Wal-Mart. He will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

LITTLE VALLEY – Preston J. Quinn, 20, and a 17-year-old male, both of Little Valley, were charged on July 3 at 7 p.m. with unlawful possession of marijuana after both were found with a small amount at a Sixth Street address in Little Valley. They will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Walter J. Colgan of Pottstown, Pa., was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and falsely reporting an incident. At 12 p.m., a victim contacted the police to report his stolen vehicle. At 9:30 p.m., officers located the stolen vehicle unoccupied. At about the same time, Colgan allegedly contacted police to report he had been kidnapped and held against his will the entire day. Investigation revealed that Colgan stole the vehicle from his boss and made up a story about being kidnapped in an attempt to cover up his actions. Colgan was also found in possession of a stolen credit card that was inside the stolen vehicle.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Bart M. Bartlett, 29, of Jamestown was charged on Thursday with sixth-degree conspiracy, second-degree criminal mischief and fifth-degree arson. On June 8, police responded to a camping area off of Route 380 to investigate damage to county-owned property. After further investigation, a warrant was issued for Bartlett. He was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Michael J. Tyler, 20, of Warren, Pa., was charged Wednesday with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 1:50 p.m., Tyler was charged after he allegedly stole $74.92 worth of merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart store. It was discovered the merchandise was damaged during the larceny. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Tina C. Schultz, 34, of Depew was charged Wednesday with failure to stop at stop sign, uninspected motor vehicle, operating with less than two headlights, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 10:17 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign on Alleghany Road in Hanover. Investigation revealed that the driver – Schultz – was intoxicated. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

KIANTONE – Lonnie M. Ling, 24, of Falconer was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. At 12:38 p.m., a sheriff’s patrol pulled over a speeding car on Peck Settlement Road in Kiantone. Investigation revealed that the driver – Ling – had a marijuana pipe and a small amount of marijuana in plain view within the vehicle. She will appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Timothy S. Murphy, 64, of Angola was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated common law and refusal to take a breath test. At 3:30 a.m., deputies were called to a suspicious situation in Hanover. Upon arrival, deputies located a vehicle that appeared to have been in an accident and was parked off the road. The driver – Murphy – was inside and was intoxicated. He was remanded to the county jail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SALAMANCA – Lena P. Dowdy, 23, of Steamburg was charged Wednesday at 1:27 a.m. with driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at a stop sign. She will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

OLEAN – Jared Mitchell, 20, of Olean was charged Monday at 8:38 a.m. with third-degree assault. It is alleged that on June 14 at 12:30 a.m., Mitchell punched another person in the mouth, causing injury. The incident took place at an underage drinking party on McDuffy Road in Olean. Mitchell will appear in Olean Court on Aug. 21 at 5 p.m.

ALLEGANY – Keith Krabill, 53, of Olean was charged Monday at 11:36 a.m. with driving while intoxicated, DWI with .08 percent blood alcohol content or higher, open container and no signal. This occurred after a traffic stop on Route 417 in Allegany. He will appear in Allegany Court at Aug. 11 at 5 p.m.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

SHERMAN – Angel L. Ormsby, 38, Thomas A. Ormsby, 41, and Christopher E. Holland, 28, all of Jamestown, were charged on July 3 with felony criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop on Interstate 86 for a cracked windshield. With the assistance of K9 Kubi, the three were found to be in possession of marihuana, hashish, psilocybin mushrooms and codeine. They were committed to the county jail in lieu $10,000 cash bail.

HANOVER – Nathan A. Kohler, 27, of Forestville was charged on July 7 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and loud exhaust. Haley M. Izzio-Smock, 21, of Forestville was also charged on July 7 with facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation. At 8:40 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Bennett Road in Hanover for a traffic violation. Deputies observed the driver and front-seat passenger switch positions. The alleged original driver – Kohler – had a revoked New York State driver’s license for prior driving while intoxicated incidents. Both will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

ELLERY – Dennis A. Lyamkin, 17, of Solon, Ohio, was charged on July 4 with moving from lane unsafely and zero tolerance operating a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol under the age of 21. At 11:43 p.m., deputies received a call of a vehicle off the road on Pickard Road in Ellery. Upon arrival, deputies located an unoccupied vehicle in a ditch. With K9 Drago’s assistance, deputies located Lyamkin at a camp a short distance up the road. Investigation revealed that he was the driver of the vehicle and had consumed alcohol prior to driving. Lyamkin will appear for a New York State Department of Motor Vehicles hearing under the Zero Tolerance law.

GERRY – Stephanie L. Lodestro, 24, of Falconer was charged June 29 with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding. At 3:12 a.m., a sheriff’s patrol pulled over a speeding driver on Route 60 in Gerry. Investigation revealed that the driver – Lodestro – was intoxicated. She will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Joseph F. Kubasik Jr., 58, of Sherman was charged July 1 with no stop lamp, failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 7:12 p.m., deputies pulled over Kubasik for driving a car with only one functional brake lamp and for failing to keep right. Investigation revealed that he was intoxicated and had revoked driving privileges in New York state. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ASHFORD – Peter G. Whelan, 62, of Bradford, Pa., was charged on June 30 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to stop at a stop sign. At 2:02 a.m., Whelan was traveling westbound on Peters Road in Ashford when he was pulled over by a patrol for failing to stop at a stop sign. Investigation revealed that his driving privileges were revoked. He was remanded in the county jail on $1,000 bail. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ellicottville Police Department.

Richard D. Hosack, 35, of Jamestown was charged Monday with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. At 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a Baker Street residence for a report of a disorderly male threatening another male with a metal pipe. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the male victim who stated that he feared physical injury. Investigation revealed that Hosack had a domestic dispute with a female prior to threatening the male victim. It is alleged that Hosack threw a stereo and steam vac, belonging to the victim, onto the ground causing them to break. Hosack also pushed the female victim during the argument. Hosack was located inside his residence and transported to the city jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sarah J. Deering, 22, of Gerry was charged Monday with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after police determined she took a victim’s car without permission. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RIPLEY – Charles M. Finn, 43, of Ripley was charged July 7 with aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and no front plate. At 7:48 p.m., deputies on North East Sherman Road pulled over a vehicle with no front plate and expired state inspection. Investigation revealed that the driver-Finn-had a revoked driver’s license. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Gerri M. Ziolkowski, 37, of Ripley was charged Friday with second-degree facilitating aggravated unlicensed operator. Investigation reveals that Ziolkowski allegedly allowed an individual to drive her vehicle while knowing the operator’s license was revoked. She will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Dale W. Miller, 34, of Silver Creek was charged Monday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operator. At 2:08 p.m., deputies observed Miller driving on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover. They were aware that Miller had active warrants out of Silver Creek and had suspended driving privileges. He was pulled over and arrested on an active warrant. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

POLAND – David T. Baron, 51, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with felony driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over on I-86 in Poland for a loose rear registration plate and a hanging tail light. Police detected an odor of alcohol, and after field tests, transported Baron to State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing. A blood alcohol content of .19 was obtained. Baron will appear in Poland Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – Henry B. Stovall, 37, of Jamestown was charged on July 8 with driving while intoxicated-refusal, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, moving from lane unsafely, speed not reasonable and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle after a property damage accident on Route 430 in Mayville. Upon arrival, police observed Stovall attempting to walk away from the scene, refusing to cooperate in field tests. After resisting arrest, Stovall was transported to State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing. He was committed to the county jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

ELLICOTT – Emily L. Steves, 31, of Warren, Pa., was charged on July 6 with DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, improper left turn and operating a motor vehicle on a public highway while using a mobile phone. Police pulled over Steves on Route 60 after observing her talking on her cell phone. Police detected a strong odor of alcohol, and after field tests, placed Steves under arrest for DWI. She was transported to State Police barracks at Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .11 was obtained. Steves will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – John R. Schultz, 42, of Erie, Pa., was charged on July 6 with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over at a traffic road check on Waits Corners Road in Sherman. After field tests, Schultz was placed under arrest and transported to State Police barracks at Jamestown where a blood alcohol content of .09 was obtained. He will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – Jeffrey M. Beach, 26, of West Seneca was charged on July 6 with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance as a result of a narcotics investigation on Wait Corners Road in Sherman. Beach was placed under arrest for selling heroin and transported to State Police barracks at Jamestown for processing. Beach was found to be in possession of 22 grams of heroin. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail.

SHERMAN-Nathaniel G. Kuhn, 27, of Meadville, Pa., was charged on July 5 with driving while intoxicated and failure to use turn signal after a traffic stop on Route 76 in Sherman. After field tests, Kuhn was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to State Police barracks at Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .09 was obtained. He will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Richard A. Carlson, 42, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated, felony DWI and refusing to take a breath test. At 2:05 a.m., police observed a vehicle veering off to the right side of the road and striking the curb for no apparent reason. After pulling over the vehicle, police determined that the driver – Carlson – was intoxicated. Due to a prior DWI conviction in the past 10 years, the arrest was a felony, police said. Carlson was remanded in the county jail on no bail. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Aaron D. Houser, 18, of Falconer was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 3:35 a.m., police observed Houser on Homestead Street acting suspicious. Investigation revealed that Houser was in possession of an illegal weapon. Police confiscated the weapon and gave Houser a ticket. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Jesse H. Cook, 34, of Panama was charged Friday with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree criminal trespassing. At 1 a.m., police were called to an address on Fairmount Avenue for a possible domestic incident. It was alleged that Cook entered and remained in a residence despite a valid court order that stated he should stay away. Cook was remanded to the county jail on $5,000 cash and $10, 000 property bail.

Robert Sargent, 58, of Celoron was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated. At 2:55 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle for failing to maintain lane in Celoron. Investigation revealed that the driver – Sargent – was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FORESTVILLE – Theresa F. Quagliana, 23, of Forestville was charged Sunday with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. At 12:15 a.m., deputies responded to Pearl Street in Forestville for the report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Quagliana bit a male during an altercation, causing injury. At the time of the incident, there was a valid order of protection prohibiting Quagliana from harassing the male victim. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

FORESTVILLE – Bryan J. Cronin, 27, of Forestville was charged Sunday with second-degree harassment. At 12:15 a.m., deputies responded to Pearl Street in Forestville for the report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Cronin pushed a female during an altercation. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – Mark Maio, 20, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with unsafe speed, speed unreasonable and prudent and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. At 2:08 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office and Sherman Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle, personal-injury accident. Investigation revealed that the driver – Maio – was driving eastbound on Route 430 in Sherman when he passed another vehicle at a high rate of speed and in a no passing zone. He lost control of his vehicle, which left the road and struck several trees, police said. Maio was flown by Starflight to Hamot Medical Center. Kayla Clark, 18, of Jamestown was the front seat passenger and taken to Hamot Medical Center. Todd Clark, 19, of Jamestown was the rear passenger and taken to WCA Hospital. Sherman Fire Department was assisted by the Mayville and Chautauqua fire departments.

HANOVER – Jessica L. Small, 18, of Forestville was charged Sunday with first-degree unlawful dealing with a child. At 2 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a large party at 10117 Bradigan Road in Hanover. Deputies and New York State Police broke up the party. Small was identified as the host and charged for permitting alcohol to be served. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

WESTFIELD – Shane Miller, 22, of Portland was charged Saturday with second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree harassment. At 2:07 p.m., deputies along with the Westfield Police and New York State Police conducted a warrant check on Main Street in Westfield in an attempt to locate Miller who had an outstanding warrant for the above charges. Miller was located and arraigned in Westfield Court.

NORTH HARMONY – Edmond R. Shultz Jr., 60, of Bonita Springs, Fla., was charged Saturday with improper navigation lights, boating while intoxicated and BWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater. At 10:23 p.m., Shultz was stopped for improper navigation lights at night time on Chautauqua Lake. Investigation revealed that Shultz was intoxicated. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

PORTLAND – Alex J. Aviles-Sanchez, 31, of Erie, Pa., was charged Saturday with moving from lane safely, failure to use designated lane, driving across hazard markings, driving while intoxicated and felony DWI in violation of Leandra’s Law. At 11:33 p.m., deputies on Route 5 in Portland pulled over a vehicle for several lane violations. Investigation revealed that the driver – Aviles-Sanchez – was intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that two of his passengers were children under the age of 16, police said. He was remanded to the county jail with no bail and will appear in Portland Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT – Lionel A. Wescott Jr., 50, of Bemus Point was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At 1:55 a.m., deputies in Bemus Point observed a fight on Main Street. Deputies attempted to take Wescott into custody for disorderly conduct, but he resisted, police said. He was eventually able to be subdued. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Ashlyn N. Terry, 18, was charged Friday following a traffic stop. At approximately 3:18 p.m., patrol stopped a speeding motorist on Interstate 86 in the town of Ellery. The operator was identified as Terry, and an investigation revealed that she was driving while intoxicated. She was charged with DWI with a blood alcohol content level of .08 percent or higher, DWI per se and speeding. Terry will appear at Ellery Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

Claytoven A. Leeper, 24, received multiple charges following a traffic stop that occurred Saturday. At approximately 2:29 a.m., patrol stopped a vehicle on Route 430 in the town of Ellery for having an expired registration. The driver, identified as Leeper, was found to have been operating the vehicle while impaired under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs, and was charged accordingly; as well as for driving an unregistered vehicle. He was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana at the time he was charged, leading to an additional charge of unlawful possession of marijuana. Leeper was processed and released, and will appear at Ellery Town Court to answer the charges at a future date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Navorria S. Green, 19, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of obstructing governmental administration, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and third-degree assault. Amber L. Conrad, 29, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with endangering the welfare of a child and obstruction of governmental administration. At 1:14 a.m., officers were dispatched to Sturges Street for a physical dispute. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with a victim who stated that his girlfriend-Green-had destroyed property around the residence and physically harmed him. He stated this all happened in the presence of their 2-month-old son and that his girlfriend left with the child on foot. At 2:54 a.m., police were informed that the suspect returned to the residence with a child and another female. Officers attempted to make contact with Green, but she would not answer the door, according to police. Police eventually entered and located Green and the child hiding in a closet. In addition, Conrad was located hiding in a closet, police said. The two suspects had refused to come out and hid behind the child to avoid the K-9 unit, police said. Officers secured the child and charged the two suspects.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Cinnamon Swanson, 42, of Jamestown, was charged Saturday with petit larceny after she left the Dollar General store with merchandise in her purse, police said. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA-Ryan C. Jaynes, 30, of Westfield, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated common law and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. At 1:38 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle parked on the side of Route 394 near Beaujean Road in Chautauqua. Further investigation revealed that the driver-Jaynes-was intoxicated, police said. He will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

Steven M. Sandberg, 30, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. Tara L. Shevlin, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. At 8:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to 839 Prendergast Ave. for a dispute. Investigation determined that a witness saw Shevlin enter an apartment through a second-story window without permission from the tenant. When the witness spoke with Sandberg and Shevlin, she was threatened. Sandberg allegedly used a hammer in a threatening manner and pushed the female victim, while she was holding a child. Both Sandberg and Shevlin were transported to the city jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ELLERY – Cassidy W. Kingsfield, 24, of Forestville was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana, operating motor vehicle with suspended registration and depositing refuse upon highway. At 7:21 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Ellery-Centralia Road for committing a traffic violation. Investigation revealed that the driver – Kingsfield – was in possession of marijuana. She had also allegedly thrown a marijuana smoking pipe from the vehicle as police initiated the traffic stop. Kingsfield will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK – Travis L. Perkins, 38, of Dunkirk was charged Wednesday with probation violation and felony driving while intoxicated. At 12:10 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Central Avenue in Silver Creek for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed that the vehicle’s passenger – Perkins – had an active felony warrant for probation violation. He was remanded to county jail without bail.

GERRY – Ajaye W. Pattison, 30, of Jamestown was charged Friday with speeding, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, suspended registration, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and switched plates. At 2:30 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for speeding in Gerry. Investigation revealed that the driver – Pattison – had a suspended non-driver license. It was also determined that the vehicle was suspended and bearing switched license plates. He will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT – Frank Thompson III, 29, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with failing to stop at stop sign, failure to signal turn, speeding, failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with .18 percent or higher blood alcohol content. At 3:58 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Fairmount Avenue for committing multiple traffic infractions. Investigation revealed that the driver – Thompson – was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Evelyn Martinez, 36, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree menacing. At 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a Chautauqua Avenue address for a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that Martinez slapped, pushed and pulled the hair of the victim numerous times during an argument. It was also found that Martinez threatened to cut the victim with a knife during the argument. Martinez was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Scott L. Crowl, 43, of Lakewood was charged Monday with second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Crowl made threats to kill a female subject which caused her alarm and serious annoyance. He was transported to the county jail with bail set at $500/$1,000. He is due back in Busti Court at a later date.

Daniel K. Witmore, 45, of Sugar Grove, Pa., was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated. Witmore was driving eastbound on Busti-Stillwater Road when he swerved and went off the road and struck a tree. Whitmore’s wife, who was in the vehicle, was transported to WCA Hospital for injuries. Witmore will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

BEMUS POINT – Dustin D. Wilson, 29, of Dewittville was charged Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no seat belt. At 5:25 p.m., deputies pulled over Wilson on Center Road in Bemus Point for driving without a seat belt. Investigation revealed that Wilson’s driver’s license was suspended. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – John F. Orosz, 62, of Fredonia was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit a chemical test and refusal to take a breath test. At 8:30 p.m., deputies arrested Orosz on Wait Corners Road in Sherman for DWI. He was also charged after refusing to take a breath test and submitting a chemical test. He was remanded to the county jail.

Matthew E. Stebbins Sr., 38, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child. At 11 a.m., police responded to a report of a young child wandering around the area of Maple Street near Everett Avenue. A concerned citizen called 911 after observing the child allegedly walking around in only a diaper with no parental supervision. After nearly two hours, police received a phone call from the child’s mother stating that her child was missing. Investigation revealed that the child was left in the care of Stebbins. The child allegedly managed to get out of the residence while Stebbins was sleeping. Stebbins was transported to city jail without incident. Police notified Child Protection Services who assisted the investigation. The child was unharmed and returned to his mother.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Becky L. Donisi, 34, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with three counts of petit larceny. Over a two-year time frame, Donisi, a caregiver for a Lakewood resident, allegedly filled a prescription narcotic belonging to the resident without his permission. Donisi was charged after further investigation.

Brady M. Griffin, 32, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with petit larceny and criminal mischief. At 6:06 p.m., Griffin was observed allegedly removing a pair of FUBU gym shoes from their box, placing them on his feet and leaving the area. Griffin waited outside in the parking lot with a friend. Police arrived on scene and located Griffin wearing the shoes. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Teresa M. Greenawalt, 50, of Panama was charged Tuesday with issuing a bad check after she allegedly wrote a check for merchandise to Valu Home Center. The check was returned to the store for non-sufficient funds.

Scott A. Bellardo Jr., 23, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with first-degree criminal contempt and family offense act along with second-degree harassment. Helena B. Flores, 37, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At 8:33 p.m., officers responded to the area of East Seventh and Liberty streets on a report of a fight. Investigation revealed that Bellardo and Flores were arguing at a house, police said. When asked to leave, Bellardo became upset and threatened a 15-year-old male, according to police. After he was charged, Flores allegedly became upset and started screaming. She also resisted arrest, police said. Both were transported to the city jail where it was determined that Bellardo had an order of protection to stay away from Flores, according to police. Both are pending arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SHERMAN – Jordan T. Adams, 28, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 3:15 a.m., deputies responded to Waits Corners Road in Sherman for a suspicious situation. Investigation revealed that Adams had a small quantity of marijuana. He will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Dananir Arafat, 19, of Fredonia was charged Saturday with moving from a lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated common law and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At 2:12 a.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Van Buren Road in Pomfret. Arafat was driving eastbound when her vehicle veered off the roadway, struck an embankment and rolled over on its roof, police said. Investigation revealed that Arafat was intoxicated, according to police. She will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

STOCKTON – Natalia I. Semyenova, 41, of Stockton was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. At 9:30 p.m., deputies along with State Troopers responded to a physical altercation on Barber Road in Stockton. Further investigation revealed that Semyenova threw several items at another individual, striking the individual, police said. She will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Gary J. Krzakala, 51, of Orange, California, was charged Sunday with crossing hazard markings, speeding, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher. At 10:15 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle on Route 5 in Hanover speeding and crossing the center line of the roadway. Investigation determined that the driver – Krzakala – was intoxicated, police said. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER – Jessica K. Tiedemann, 28, of Hamburg was charged Sunday with unsafe backing, refusal to take a pre-breath test, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. At 1:08 a.m., deputies responded to an address on Armstrong Street in Hanover for a report of a group fighting. Investigation revealed that Tiedemann had attempted to leave a residence in her vehicle and backed into a neighbor’s vehicle, according to police. Tiedemann was found to be intoxicated, police said. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Michael S. Lorei, 29, of Ripley was charged June 30 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speeding. At 8:11 p.m., a patrol officer pulled over a speeding motorist on Route 20 in Ripley. Investigation revealed that the driver – Lorei – was intoxicated, police said. He will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

BEMUS POINT – Andrea L. Johnson, 28, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speeding. At 2:25 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Main Street in Bemus Point for speeding. Investigation revealed that the driver-Johnson-was intoxicated, according to police. She will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

STOCKTON – Melissa D. Nowell, 38, of Jamestown was charged Monday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. At 11:55 a.m., Nowell was pulled over on Route 38 in Stockton for speeding, police said. Investigation determined that Nowell had suspended driving privileges for failing to pay a fine, according to police. She will appear in Stockton Court at a later date.

SHERMAN – Jamie L. Warner, 32, of Pueblo, Colorado, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 5:43 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Stebbins Road in Sherman for a violation. Investigation revealed that the driver – Warner – had a small quantity of marijuana and a controlled substance, police said. Warner will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Donald C. Harkins Jr., 40, was taken into custody and charged following an incident occurring Friday evening. At approximately 9:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to 563 E. Second St. for a suspicious situation. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Harkins and a female victim in the apartment. Through investigation, officers determined that Harkins had a valid order of protection to stay away from the victim in the apartment. He was charged for second-degree harassment, and transported to city jail without incident.

Ebony L. Jones, 28, received several charges for outstanding warrants after being found by officers Friday morning. At approximately 8:18 a.m., officers observed Jones on the corner of E. Second and Winsor streets, with the knowledge that Jones had a felony warrant and three misdemeanor warrants outstanding. Jones led officers on a brief foot pursuit, then resisted arrest. He was charged with the outstanding warrants of fourth-degree grand larceny, petit larceny, third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He received a new charge for resisting arrest.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Erin M. Lobb, 34, of Frewsburg, was met with several charges following a traffic stop Friday morning. At approximately 2:26 a.m., sheriff’s patrol stopped a speeding motorist on Route 430 in the town of Ellery. Investigation showed Lobb to be the operator. Deputies observed an opened alcoholic beverage in the cup holder of the vehicle. Lobb was charged for driving while intoxicated, and taken into custody. A check of her license history showed that she had a prior conviction for DWI within the past 10 years, making this incident a felony. Lobb was charged with felony DWI, having a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and speeding. She will appear in Ellery Town Court at a later date.

Terry R. Hile, 55, of Stockton, received two charges of third-degree criminal mischief Thursday afternoon. At approximately 3:50 p.m., Hile was taken into custody on the charges, which stem from a prior incident in which it is alleged that Hile drove his pickup truck into two other motor vehicles, causing damage to them. He was released with appearance tickets, and will appear in Stockton Town Court at a later date.

Ajaye W. Pattison, 30, received multiple charges following a traffic stop that occurred Friday afternoon. At approximately 2:30 p.m., deputies stopped a motor vehicle in the town of Gerry after it was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. After a brief investigation, it is alleged that Pattison was driving with a suspended non-driver license. It was also discovered that the vehicle was suspended and bearing switched license plates. Pattison was issued tickets for speeding, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, suspended registration, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and switched plates.

Jordan T. Adams, 28, was charged and issued appearance tickets for unlawful possession of marijuana following an incident that occurred Saturday morning. At approximately 3:15 a.m., deputies responded to Waits Corners Road in the town of Sherman for a suspicious situation. Investigation showed that Adams was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana, and he was subsequently charged. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Sherman Town Court at a later date.

Christopher C. Hartney, 22, of Portland, was charged with second-degree harassment following an incident that occurred Thursday at approximately 2:15 p.m.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Richard F. Windsor, 70, of Lakewood, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated following a minor motor vehicle accident Saturday. At approximately 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the aforementioned accident, and a short investigation determined that Windsor was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He was issued traffic tickets following a breath sample, and will appear at Busti Town Court at a later date.

ELLICOTTVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

Patricia A. Wesley, 53, of Allegany, was charged with petit larceny following an incident that occurred last month. At approximately 11:15 a.m. on June 23, Wesley allegedly stole merchandise from the Kwik Fill store in the village of Ellicottville while working as a manager of the store. She was issued an appearance ticket directing her to appear in Ellicottville Village Court at a later date.

SOUTHERN TIER REGIONAL DRUG TASK FORCE

OLEAN – Cain McKnight, 32, of Salamanca, and Dusti L. Ginnery, 28, of Limestone, were charged following an investigation conducted by the Olean-based Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force into the sale and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the cities of Salamanca and Olean. Officers executed a search warrant at 45 1/2 Quilter Ave. in Salamanca. As a result of the search, approximately 5 grams of cocaine were seized with a street value of approximately $500. Also seized was approximately $600 in U.S. currency, scales and paraphernalia. McKnight was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony. Ginnery was also taken into custody at the scene, and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ginnery was subsequently charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal sale of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal sale of marijuana stemming from a previous investigation.

Jeffrey P. Hamilton, 35, of Lakewood, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree stalking, trespassing, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 11:03 p.m., officers responded to 421 Stowe St. to locate Hamilton who was allegedly stalking an ex-girlfriend. Upon arrival, officers observed Hamilton crouched down in the bushes near the victim’s window, police said. He allegedly ran away from officers initiating a foot pursuit. He refused to stop despite being told repeatedly to stop, police said. When officers caught Hamilton, he refused to place his hands behind his back, police said. He was transported to city jail where he awaits arraignment.

Rik Q. Coker, 38, of Jamestown, was charged Wednesday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. At 8:19 p.m., officers responded to a Bradmar Circle address for a reported physical domestic incident. Upon investigation, officers learned that Coker had physically attacked a 12-year-old male, police said. The incident occurred in front of a 9-year-old female inside the residence, according to police. Coker was transported to city jail and is awaiting arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Maurita Lynn Shaver. 28, of Jamestown, was charged Wednesday with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana. At 5:45 p.m., it is alleged that Shaver stole $176 in merchandise from Sears. A small amount of marijuana was found in her possession during processing, police said. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

PORTLAND – Richard E. Brown, 35, of Portland, was charged Wednesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and crossing a hazard marking. At 7 a.m., deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident with injury. Investigation revealed that Brown was traveling west on Route 20 and veered off the road and into a ditch, police said. His vehicle rolled over and struck a tree. Brown was able to exit on his own, but was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital by Portland EMS. Investigation revealed that Brown was driving with a revoked license, according to police. He will appear in Portland Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – June Smith, 60, of Mayville, was charged Tuesday with driving while ability impaired-drugs, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and driving too slow/impeding traffic. At 11:34 p.m., a vehicle was traveling 5 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. The vehicle was impeding the travel of several cars behind it. Investigation revealed that the driver-Smith-was impaired by drugs, police said. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office. A police-style billy club was found near the driver’s seat of Smith’s vehicle.

ELLICOTT – Matthew M. Bindics, 23, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Dave M. Muir, 22, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right. At 1:45 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Hunt Road in Ellicott for failing to keep right. Investigation revealed that the driver – Bindics – had a suspended driver’s license. A passenger in the vehicle – Muir – was found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. They will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Christopher S. Hayes, 35, of Buffalo was charged Wednesday with unnecessary noise, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 4:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to 1414 E. Second St. (Bullfrog Hotel) for a man using narcotics inside the establishment. Officers located Hayes outside being disorderly and yelling. During his arrest, he refused to enter the patrol vehicle. He was transported to the city jail where .6 grams of cocaine were found in his possession. He is being held pending arraignment.

Joshua K. Crist, 33, was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment. Kaitlyn A. Covell, 26, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 5:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to 370 Falconer St. for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers made contact with both Crist and Covell. Investigation revealed that Crist had made physical threats toward Covell and threw her to the ground. Covell then tore Crist’s shirt as he was trying to leave the residence. They were both transported to city jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Felix J. Figueroa-Torres, 26, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 10 a.m., Figueroa-Torres was arrested on an active warrant due to an incident where he was at the house of a victim that had a valid court order against him.

Eliel Rodriguez, 19, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal mischief. At 3:42 p.m., officers responded to a Prendergast Avenue apartment for a report of a physical domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Rodriguez and a female victim. It was determined that Rodriguez had an argument with the victim and began to damage her property, breaking a cellphone and table. Rodriguez also interfered with the victim while she was attempting to make an emergency call, slapping the phone out of her hand. Rodriguez was transported to the city jail and is pending arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Steven J. Whalen, 26, of Jamestown was charged June 23 with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police were called to the Dollar General store for a report of criminal mischief. A store employee observed a man attempting to remove a $100 cellphone from a locked shelf. The phone was damaged in the process. When confronted, the man fled the store. He was later found and transported to the county jail. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Kari Seiberg, of Jamestown, was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 6:11 p.m., Seiberg was charged after she stole merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart totaling $8. She will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK – Shawn M. Horton, 54, of Stockton was charged Monday with failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 6:29 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a property damage accident on Williams Street in Dunkirk. Investigation revealed that the driver – Horton – was intoxicated and failed to negotiate a turn from Route 60 onto Williams Street, losing control and crashing into St. Mary’s Cemetery. Horton will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NAPOLI – Terry A. Bedell, 53, of Little Valley was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, using a mobile phone while driving and a turning violation. At 7 p.m., deputies pulled over Bedell for using a cellphone and making an improper left turn while on Route 242 in Napoli. He will appear in Napoli Court at a later date.

ASHFORD – Bruce E. Aungst, 52, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., was charged Saturday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed in zone following a traffic stop on Route 219 in Ashford. Aungst was pulled over for speeding and found to have five license suspensions on three separate dates. He will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.

Waleska Diaz, 26, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with second-degree menacing. At 7:57 p.m., officers responded to a North Main Street address for a physical domestic dispute in progress. An investigation revealed that Diaz put a knife to the victim’s stomach and threatened to kill the victim, police said. Diaz was transported to the city jail and will appear in city court at a later date.

David Soderberg, 25, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated. At 4:47 a.m., officers responded to McCrea Point for a report of a vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers found a heavily damaged vehicle that struck the guard rails around a Jamestown BPU power station, police said. Soderberg was walking outside the vehicle, police said. Officers determined that he was intoxicated. He was transported to WCA Hospital for minor injuries and will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Clifford C. Latta III, 40, of Falconer, was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of an airway. Police responded to a domestic incident and determined that Latta choked another family member and punched him in the head, police said. He was remanded to the county jail on $2,500 cash/$5,000 property bond.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shai Milliman, 20, was charged with petit larceny Thursday at 9:30 p.m., after allegedly stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart. She will appear in Busti Court on July 8.

Michael J. Privitear, 29, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 8:05 p.m., Privitear was pulled over for a traffic violation that allegedly occurred on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood. An investigation revealed that he had a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle, police said. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHAUTAUQUA – Nicholas A. Zentz, 19, of Mayville, was charged Friday with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child. At 12:48 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding a large underage party off of Plank Road. Deputies located the party and broke it up. Zentz was identified as the person hosting the party and will appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date, police said. Deputies checked the drivers as they left the party to ensure none had been drinking.

SILVER CREEK – Casey J. Peacock, 39, of Silver Creek, was charged Thursday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and inadequate head lamps. At 11:58 p.m., deputies pulled over a driver who committed a traffic violation, police said. An investigation revealed that the driver-Peacock-was driving with a suspended license. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

IRVING – Michael D. Kroll, 42, of Irving, was charged Saturday with first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt. At 12:39 p.m., deputies observed an individual operating a car without wearing a seat belt on Franklin Street in Irving, police said. Deputies pulled over the vehicle and noticed that Kroll had an open can of beer in his cupholder, according to police. Further investigation determined that Kroll was intoxicated and had suspended driving privileges from a previous alcohol-related offense, police said. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Amanda P. Alford, 28, of Mayville, was charged Sunday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and speeding. At 12:45 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Webster Road in Pomfret. Investigation revealed that the driver – Alford – had suspended driving privileges due to an alcohol-related offense, police said. She will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.

HANOVER – James E. Colf, 47, of Hamburg, was charged Sunday with failure to stop at stop sign, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 3:24 p.m., deputies on patrol in Sunset Bay observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. After pulling over the vehicle, deputies determined that the driver – Colf – was intoxicated, police said. He will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

BROCTON – A 16-year-old youth was charged Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree obstructing governmental administration due to an incident that occurred on June 23. On that date, it is alleged that the youth recklessly caused damage to a vehicle on Lake Avenue in Brocton and attempted to flee on foot. The youth will appear in Brocton Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ALLEGANY – Clare M. Barr, 61, of Olean, was charged Thursday with third-degree assault following an alleged incident in Allegany. She will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

OLEAN – Desiree S. Culverwell, 27, of Olean, was apprehended Saturday on a Carrollton bench warrant. She was wanted for failure to appear on a trespass charge. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $500 bail.

ALLEGANY – Fred K. VanDeusen III, 56, of Allegany, was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment following an alleged incident in Allegany. He will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.

MANSFIELD – Cory M. Allen, 36, of Little Valley, was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and failure to wear a seat belt after a traffic stop on Jersey Hollow in Mansfield. He will appear in Mansfield Court at a later date.

COLDSPRING – Jack A. Young, 64, of Steamburg, was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and failure to dim high beams after a traffic stop on Route 394 in Coldspring. He will appear in Coldspring Court at a later date.

LITTLE VALLEY – Michael C. Kay, 73, of Ellicottville, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated after a vehicle accident off of Route 353 in Little Valley, police said. He will appear in Little Valley Court at a later date.

ALLEGANY – Thomas Caya, 23, of Allegany, was charged Wednesday with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after an incident that allegedly took place on Feb. 19 at the Allegany Kwik Fill gas station, police said. He will appear in Allegany Court at a later date.
