FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Bear Players will present their 2025 musical production, Something Rotten! At 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

The fun, funny, irreverent show is set in the 1590s and tells the story of two brothers trying to write a hit play in the larger-than-life shadow of the greatest rock star of his time, William Shakespeare. When the soothsayer, Nostradamus, predicts that the next big thing in theatre will be a musical, the brothers use the information to try to overtake Shakespeare.

Frewsburg’s Something Rotten features Taran Laska as Nick Bottom, Braeden Signorino as Nigel Bottom, Elayna Pitts as Bea, Adam Spak as Nostradamus, Lilja Holland as Portia, Mathias Sanfilippo as Brother Jeremiah, and Tristan Kelsey as Shakespeare, accompanied by a singing, dancing theatre troupe.

Tickets can be purchased at frewsburg.ticketleap.com/rotten or by calling 716-569-7069 during school hours to skip the line at the door. Tickets are $10 per person for all attendees.

The show is rated PG for some mild mature humor.

Starting at $2.99/week.
