The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Feb. 3-10.

During this time period, 6 Main of Bemus Point, LLC of Somerville, Mass. sold 6 Main St., Bemus Point to Makesmiths LLC of Tarentum, Pa. for $475,000. That was the location of Treasurers On Main. On Facebook, the business announced it was closing in December due to the building being sold.

Also during this time period, Teel Wolcott sold 4003 Route 380, Gerry to Route 380, LLC of Kennedy for $115,000. That was the location of Backyard and Bar & Grill. On Facebook, it was announced that a “Backyard Closing Party” took place Jan. 25.

In a separate sale, Falconer Property 137, LLC of Falconer sold 137 S. Work St., Falconer to Wall to Wall of WNY, LLC of Falconer for $397,000. That is the location of Jamestown Auto Parts, which continues to operate out of that location.

Including the sales previously mentioned, from Feb. 3-10 there were eight sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:

– 63 West 17th St., 57 West 17th St., and two other parcels on West 17th Street, Jamestown sold for $499,000.

– 10567 Chestnut Road, Dunkirk town sold for $330,000.

– 295 E. Terrace Ave., Lakewood sold for $329,900.

– 5438 Stockton-Hartfield Road, Stockton sold for $300,000.

– 2923 Route 394, North Harmony sold for $291,375.
