Pizza Hut To Make It’s Return To City
Pizza Hut is coming back to Jamestown.
Construction crews have been remodeling the former Danny B’s, located in the plaza at 709 W. Third St.
No opening date has been given.
Pizza Hut was located at 995 Fairmount Ave., in West Ellicott, but closed during COVID-19.
In a July 25, 2020 Post-Journal story, Pizza Hut officials commented on the closing of Western New York restaurants.
“As a result of 17 Pizza Hut dine-in restaurants in Western New York initially closing temporarily due to COVID-19 restrictions, the local franchisee made the decision to permanently close these stores. However, Pizza Hut has new franchisees coming into the New York region, and we are hopeful we will be able to serve our customers in this area again in the future,” a prepared statement said.
According to pizzahut.com, currently there are six restaurants operating in the Buffalo area, one restaurant in Warren, Pa., one restaurant in Corry, Pa., and three restaurants in Erie, Pa.
A call and email to Yum! Brands, Inc., owner of Pizza Hut were not returned.
