MAYVILLE — If you happen to be driving around Chautauqua Lake, chances are you’ll see Buffalo Bill’s star quarterback Josh Allen hanging around on West Lake Road.

Allen – or at least an ice sculpture of the Bills’ quarterback, has been spotted standing at 4837 West Lake Road just outside Andriaccio’s Restaurant forming the letter ‘V” in the word MVP.

For the fifth year in a row, the owners of Andriaccio’s Restaurant have commissioned Vince Liuzzo to create a Buffalo Bills-themed snow sculpture, in front of their restaurant. While last year’s sculpture was created in the form of a Buffalo Bills helmet with the words ‘Believe’ etched just below it, in large blue font, Liuzzo has stepped up his creative endeavors to create something individual and unique.

“This is our biggest sculpture yet,” wrote Liuzzo in a message. “Andriaccio’s Restaurant will offer a 17% discount, in honor of Josh Allen, for anyone who takes a selfie and tags Andriaccio’s Restaurant with the sculpture, and posts it to social media.”

However, Liuzzo says there is a possibility that the current ice carving may receive some new icy neighbors.

“It’s our fifth sculpture in five years,” he said. “We will add more if the Bill’s progress through the playoffs to the Super Bowl.”

According to Liuzzo, this sculpture has special meaning for him, and he has dedicated it to the memory of a recently deceased Andriaccio family member.

“This sculpture is dedicated to the memory of Guy “Pappa Guy” Andriaccio, who passed away Dec. 23, 2024.”

The matriarch of the Andriaccio’s eatery, Sally Andriaccio said in a 2024 Post-Journal story, “Vince is just super talented, and his sculptures are a local favorite.”

When Sally Adriaccio was asked what the next sculpture would be in 2024, she said, “I’m not 100% sure. We tend to let Vince take the lead when it comes to the artistic side of the creations. All I know for sure is it will be Buffalo Bills-themed.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
