A farm has purchased nearly $3.5 million worth of property in the southern end of the county.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Oct. 16-28.

During this time period, Lindell NY Farms, LLC of Jamestown purchased five parcels in Busti and three parcels in Kiantone for $2,468,800. The parcels in Kiantone are on Bacon Road and Norby Road. The parcels in Busti are on Nutt Road, Shadyside Road and Creek Road and total around 820 acres.

Lindell NY Farms also purchased one parcel in Busti and two parcels in Kiantone for $1 million. The Kiantone property is located on Norby Road, and the Busti property is located on Nutt Road.

Including the previously mentioned sales, from Oct. 16-28, there were nine sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:
