Molitor Sworn In As New Assemblyman

State Assemblyman Andrew Molitor and his family as he is being sworn in by Hon. Grace M. Hanlon.

On Wednesday, at the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown, Andrew Molitor was sworn in as assemblyman for the 150th Assembly District by Hon. Grace M. Hanlon.

“I am excited to serve the people of this District, work for the common good of all New Yorkers and make New York a better place to live.” stated Molitor, R-Westfield.

Molitor thanked God, his family, his friends, and all of his supporters and he was especially thankful to all those who worked so hard for him during the campaign. “I was very blessed to have so much support during the campaign and I am thankful for all the support I will have in rising to the challenge of this job.”

Looking forward there is a lot to build upon and Molitor especially thanks former Assemblyman Andy Goodell. “Thank you Mr. Goodell for your tireless and capable effort on behalf of our district over the last 14 years,” he said.

Goodell’s staff will continue their work with Molitor. Office locations and phone numbers all remain the same. “I plan to continue Mr. Goodell’s reputation to be accessible and diligent to all my constituents,” said Molitor. “Please contact me if you need my assistance.”

When the Assembly session opens on Wednesday, Molitor will be a member of the Assembly’s Banks, Children and Families, Codes, Judiciary, and Social Services committees. The committee assignments position Assemblyman Molitor to influence policies on a wide range of critical issues, from banking regulations and financial stability to the well-being of children and families, criminal justice and the delivery of essential social services.

“I am honored to serve on these committees, as I have a deep connection to these issues,” said Molitor. “As a former prosecutor and assistant district attorney, I bring firsthand experience in upholding justice and ensuring public safety. As a father of five, I understand the importance of fostering strong families and supporting our children. These perspectives will guide my work on behalf of our constituents.”
