Pair Wanted In North Side Business Burglary Caught
Two city residents face charges after a street check early this morning.
According to a police report, officers were patrolling the north side of the city near Fulton Street when they saw Michael A. Green, 34, who had active arrest warrants from a robbery on Oct. 7. Green was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned. A search found Green allegedly in possession of fentanyl.
A short time later officers report finding Abigail L. Thompson, 22, of Jamestown outside of a north side business. Thompson was also a suspect in the robbery incident on Oct. 7, according to police, and had active arrest warrants. She was charged and taken to the city jail.
Green and Thompson were both charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree menacing and petit larceny stemming from their active arrest warrants. Green was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were kept in the city jail until they could be arraigned.
