Over the next two years, each baby born at UPMC Chautauqua will receive a copy of author Margaret Wise Brown’s classic children’s book “Goodnight Moon” in English and Spanish and a bib inscribed with the words: “Read to Me.” The Jamestown Prendergast Library also provides a bookmark and application for a children’s library card.

Rotary Club members expressed gratitude for the Northwest Bank contribution. In addition to the Northwest Bank gift, the project has been supported with financial and in-kind donations from The Creche Inc., Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant, the James Prendergast Library, Rotary District 7090 and UPMC Chautauqua.

The Rotary Club of Jamestown meets at noon, Mondays, at the DoubleTree on Fourth Street. More information about the Rotary Club may be found at www.jamestownnyrotary.org or by emailing: rotaryjnyinfo@gmail.com.
