The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the sales from May 11-18.

During that time period, Lakewood NY, LLC of Burton, Ohio sold 2 Fairmount Ave., Lakewood to APIF – New York, LLC, of Foster City, Calif. for $1,525,000. That is the address of the Lakewood Post Office.

In a separate sale, Lexington Machining, LLC of Rochester sold 201 Winchester Road, Lakewood to 201 Winchester Road, LLC of Tonawanda for $1,400,000. That is the address of the former Premier Lakewood Inc.

Premier Lakewood, which used to recycle aluminum for automobiles and other commodities, closed its doors in 2014. The plant had been in Lakewood since 1946. The building had most recently been used by Bush Industries for warehouse purposes.

In March, ZTS Development LLC of Rochester, which is owned by Allen Steinberg, was approved by the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency for a $400,000 loan to purchase the plant. County IDA Director Mark Geise confirmed this week that 201 Winchester Road, LLC is owned by Steinberg.

There were other business sales as well.

In Dunkirk, 744 Central Ave. was sold to Botox Barn, LLC of South Dayton for $165,000. This was the previous location of North Chautauqua Dental, which relocated in 2022. Today the Botox Barn and Wellness operates there, which offers medical spa services.

In Westfield, 77 E. Main St. was sold to Barresi Enterprises, LLC of Westfield for $80,000. This is downtown storefront business is the location of CJ Pizza.

Including the two sales previously mentioned, from May 11-18, there were eight sales that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining six sales are as follows:
