Sale Benefits Laurel Run
The annual Laurel Run/Walk newspaper sale takes place Friday. The Post-Journal and the OBSERVER will print a special section focusing on the Laurel Run/Walk. Volunteers, including some Jamestown Police Department staff, will sell the papers from 6-10 a.m. at various locations in the Chautauqua County area, including the drive-through lanes of local Tim Hortons. Pictured, from left, are newspaper Editor John D’Agostino; Laurel Run/Walk founders Wayne and Elaine Hotelling; Vic Tarana and Blake Tarana, two of the co-owners of the Tim Hortons franchises in Jamestown and Lakewood; Erin Tarana, office assistant; Mark Wilson, director of finance; and JPD Officers A. Deuble and P. Mozzi. Proceeds from the newspaper sale will be directed to The Resource Center and Filling the Gap, Inc.., to enhance employment and work training opportunities for people with disabilities in Chautauqua County.
