A Jamestown bed and breakfast hotel has transferred ownership and is now adding to its description as a “spiritual center.”

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales and recently looked at the sales from Feb. 15-28.

During that time period, the Oaks B&B Hotel, LLC of Jamestown sold 1103 West Third St., Jamestown to The Oaks B&B Hotel and Spiritual Center, Inc. for $549,000. According to the county Chamber of Commerce, The Oaks B&B, Hotel and Spiritual Center is a “unique, yet traditional U.K. style Bed & Breakfast in a historic Tudor-style mini castle. They provide a sense of spiritual hospitality and peace of mind including accommodations, a tranquil environment and a range of activities that promote mindfulness and connection with nature. Owners Tammarishka and Randy Kerman are energized and excited to open their doors and provide hospitality to every guest who comes through the door.”

A ribbon-cutting for the new company took place in May.

In a separate sale, Warren Taylor sold 9599 S. Dayton Silver Creek Road, Villenova to South West Supply, Inc. of Eden for $300,000. South West Supply sells washed stone, recycled concrete, recycled blacktop, screened top soil, decorative rocks, and more.

The Villenova property is the location of Jacob’s Well, Inc. which sells gravel and topsoil products.

Also during this time period, the Town of Westfield sold 2-4 South Portage St., Westfield to 2 Portage, LLC of Buffalo for $475,000. This sale and price was previously announced by the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency.

Including the three sales above, there were 10 sales during this time period that were $250,000 or higher. The remaining seven are as follows:
