Four Charged In Drug Raid
According to the Jamestown Police Department, at about 4 p.m., members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 27 Stowe St. Entry into the residence was gained by the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team.
Jovian L. Maisonet, 23, of Jamestown, Jaquez L. Thomas, 18, of Jamestown and two 17-year-old juvenile males were located inside the apartment and allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine, cocaine, items used for the packaging and distributions of drugs, a quantity of United States currency believed to be the proceeds of drug sales, and a switchblade knife.
Maisonet and Thomas were taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. The two juvenile males were taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown Police Department Juvenile Bureau.
Maisonet and Thomas are charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Maisonet also had warrants for criminal impersonation, false personation, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance from the Jamestown City Court as well as warrants for robbery and criminal possession of a controlled substance from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
The juveniles were released to a guardian. Additional charges are expected to be filed in the future.
