Work on a skate park in Jamestown is “progressing quickly,” Mayor Eddie Sundquist announced last week following a tour. He said the park’s bowls have been completed while an extension of the Riverwalk is currently being built. The skate park is located at 117 Fairmount Ave. and has been funded through a grant from the Skatepark Project, formerly known as the Tony Hawk Foundation, and the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation.
