Morning Crash Sends Driver To Hospital
A man was transported to the hospital Monday morning for treatment of minor injuries following a crash between a sport utility vehicle and mail delivery truck. The mishap occurred at about 10:40 a.m. on Foote Avenue, near Barker Street, in Jamestown. An SUV struck the rear driver’s side of a USPS vehicle. The SUV was hauled away on a flatbed truck after sustaining significant front-end damage. Members of the Jamestown police and fire departments responded to Foote Avenue. Lanes of traffic were reduced due to the crash.
