SHERMAN – A Sherman woman was arrested following a fire Sunday night.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, around 10:40 p.m. a structure fire occurred around 10:40 p.m.

Scanner reports indicate it was to a barn on Bailey Hill Road.

Deputies allege that 21-year-old Susan Hostetler intentionally set the fire following a dispute.

She was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment and was charged with third-degree arson and second-degree criminal mischief in the 2nd degree. She will appear in the Town of Sherman court at a later date.
