Sinclairville woman charged in drug bust
CHARLOTTE – A Sinclairville woman has been arrested following a several month-long narcotics investigation into narcotics activity.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was executed at 6175 Rt 60, Sinclairville by narcotics investigators from the Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department and Dunkirk Police Department.
Located inside the residence at the time of the search warrant was 42-year-old Nichole L. Olmstead. As a result of the search investigators seized 78.6 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, a firearm and over $400 in US currency.
Olmstead was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a firearm.
Olmstead was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for the Centralized arraignment program.
