Five Face Drug Charges After Camp Street Extension Raid
An attempted traffic stop Monday on Camp Street Extension led to a police chase and, eventually, drug charges against five people.
According to a police report, Jamestown police tried to pull over a vehicle leaving 2200 Camp St. Ext., Jamestown, around 11:45 a.m. Monday. The vehicle, driven by Dylan M. Abbey, 32, failed to comply and led police on a pursuit on Manchester Road and eventually back to 2200 Camp St. Ext. Abbey reportedly tried to drive through the field but got stuck in the snow while attempting to exit the field onto Swanson Road. Abbey was then arrested in the field without further incident, according to police.
Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force members then executed a search warrant at 2200 Camp St. Ext. with assistance from Jamestown, Ellicott and Dunkirk police officers as well as Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies. According to a police report, there had been complaints of drug sales from the property.
Police report John J. Lisciandro, Kenneth E. Wynn, Christopher W. Smith, and Jacklyn P. Webb were found inside the house and detained in the residence. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 13 guns, 46.4 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of fentanyl, 236 suboxone strips, a quantity of pills, and $655. A search of Abbey and his vehicle resulted in the seizure of 13.8 grams of methamphetamine, 12.7 grams of fentanyl, a quantity of pills, and $2,490.
Abbey is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia and vehicle and traffic law citations.
Lisciandro, Wynn, Smith and Webb were taken to the Chautauqua County Jail and held for CAP Arraignment. Lisciandro is charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, 12 counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
Wynn, Smith and Webb were all charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia. Wynn is additionally charged with an additional count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance because he allegedly had methamphetamine concealed on his body.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges are expected.
