Three Charged After Narcotics, Weapons Found In Probe

Weapons, cash and drugs were found in Ellicott during a search warrant Wednesday.

Three area men are facing charges after an investigation uncovered weapons and numerous drugs in an Ellicott residence.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department reports a several months long investigation into narcotics activity at 185 E. Livingston Ave. ended with members of the department, Jamestown Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department and the Town of Ellicott Police Department executing a search warrant with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s SWAT making the entry into the building around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday.

As a result of the search, investigators seized 9.51 grams of cocaine, 5.0 grams of methamphetamine a quantity of crack cocaine and prescription pills, a semi-automatic rifle, a large capacity magazine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics and $2,000.

Kevin Wright,, 52, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Michael Pace-Segura, 28, of Jamestown was charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Donald Ruppert, 68, of Busti was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Wright and Pace-Segura were both transported to the centralized Arraignment program at the Chautauqua County Jail. Ruppert was issued a ticket and released.
