Numerous south county fire departments were called to a brush fire late Friday evening around 11 p.m. several hundred yards from off Marvin Parkway in Jamestown. Responders used ATVs to shuttle fireman to the scene. Responders included Emergency Services, Kennedy, Frewsburg, Gerry, Fluvanna and Sinclairville. The fire rekindled on Saturday morning around 8:30, bringing additional crews that included Ellery Center, Lakewood and Falconer.
