PANAMA — Before midnight Friday, the Panama Fire Department and several mutual aid departments responded to 6406 Muzzy Hill Road for a reported structure fire.

After extinguishing the fire, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was requested to the scene to conduct an origin and cause fire investigation. An investigation found that the fire started on the first floor of a two-story unoccupied garage.

Due to the severity of the damage sustained to the structure from the fire, no cause was able to be determined.
