One person has been killed in a two-vehicle accident the intersection of Route 394 and Gerry Levant Road at 4:16 p.m. Thursday.

Names are being withheld pending notification of the family and an official release from the New York State Police. An entry in the State Police’s call log posted on the State Police website confirms the crash and injuries to two people involved in the accident. It also states one person was killed.

First responders were at the scene for several hours Thursday, with traffic diverted around the scene using Lindquist Drive and county Route 65 while the investigation into the accident continued.

State Police from the Jamestown barracks responded, as did Kennedy volunteer firefighters.
