Resident Suffers Burns In Sunday Morning City Fire
A Fulton Street fire injured at least one resident in the city on Sunday morning.
Jamestown Fire Department reports they were called to the blaze after 7:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they found heavy fire in the rear of the structure at 234 Fulton St. on the first and second floors of a 2 1/2-story residential home. One burn victim was located at a home across the street and was treated and transported by Alstar to UPMC-Chautauqua.
The bulk of the fire was knocked down within 30 minutes. Initial responding crews were released and in service at approximately 10 a.m.
Firefighters were assisted by Jamestown Police Department, the Department of Development, National Fuel and Chautauqua County Emergency Management Services.
