City Woman Facing Drug Possession Charges
A city woman is facing drug possession charges following a “months-long investigation into the sales of methamphetamine from the residence,” Jamestown police said.
Lisa M. Tibbetts, 46, was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at 35 Arden Parkway around 8:35 a.m. Friday. The search was the result of an investigation that included the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, local K-9 units and the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office.
Inside the residence, investigators recovered 220 grams of methamphetamine, scales, packaging materials and cash.
Tibbetts is currently facing charges of second- and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. She was being held for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Jamestown police were further assisted by the district attorney’s office in Warren County, Pa., and the Warren County Drug Task Force.
“It involved the sales and distribution of methamphetamine, not only in the Jamestown area, but also stemming from sales and distribution in Pennsylvania,” JPD said.
