Motorcycle Strikes Parked SUV In Jamestown

A motorcycle struck a parked sport utility vehicle this evening in Jamestown, resulting in serious injuries.
The crash occurred shortly before 7 p.m. on Falconer Street, between Jeffords and Kipp streets.
A motorcycle hit the rear of a parked white Jeep, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to UPMC Chautauqua with serious injuries. An update on their condition was not immediately known.
Michael Riolo was inside his Falconer Street residence when he heard the collision.
“It’s something you’ll never forget hearing,” Riolo said of the impact. “It sounded like a small explosion.”
As did others in the area, Riolo rushed outside to assist the injured rider.
Officers with the Jamestown Police Department cordoned off the area with yellow caution tape. Jamestown firefighters, as well as Ellicott police, Alstar EMS and Chautauqua County EMS, also responded to Falconer Street on Tuesday.
