Woman Charged In Jamestown Narcotics Sales

A Jamestown woman has been charged in connection with narcotics sales in the city.

Around 5:12 a.m. Thursday, investigators from Chautauqua County executed a search warrant at 608 Prendergast Ave. at the upper rear apartment. Assisting on the investigation was the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department and Dunkirk Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a two-month investigation. A search warrant had been previously executed at this residence on June 22 where Alicia Alexander of the same address was charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia.

At Thursday’s search, investigators found 9.4 grams of fentanyl, 3.1 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material for narcotics sales, and $95 in currency. Alicia Alexander, 43, who was present at the time of the search warrant, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Alexander was transported to the City of Jamestown Police Department to be arraigned in city court.
