SUNY Fredonia Reports 12 New COVID Cases; 22 In Total
The State University of New York at Fredonia is reporting 12 new COVID-19 cases among students. To date, 22 students have tested positive, about 0.55% of the entire university population.
According to SUNY Fredonia’s dashboard, five students who reside on campus are in isolation in addition to 21 in quarantine and one in precautionary quarantine.
For students who reside off-campus, 17 are in isolation, 67 in quarantine and two in precautionary quarantine.
The university announced on Tuesday the suspension of 13 students for violating the Student Code of Conduct relating to COVID-19 and off-campus gatherings. Those disciplinary actions were revealed in an email to campus in the afternoon by University President Stephen H. Kolison, Jr. and Dr. Cedric B. Howard, vice president of enrollment and student services.
