Mason Is CCHS Pet Of Week

Mason
Mason, this week’s Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet of the Week, is a favorite at the shelter due to his silly antics and radiating joy for everything in life. His favorite activities are playing tug, sitting in the sun, chewing on tough rubber bones, going on long walks and carrying his favorite ball along the way, and snuggling in people’s lap. Mason is deaf, which has caused him to be overlooked for some time but despite that Mason is very attentive and eager to learn. He knows sit, down, and come with hand signals and Humane Society officials are working on stay and drop it. All animals adopted from CCHS have been spayed or neutered, are up to date for vaccinations, and have a microchip. The Chautauqua County Humane Society is located at 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, and is open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
