Jamestown High School officials recently named the school’s February Students of the Month. They are:

JaLeiya Glover, ninth grade and the daughter of Kelly Bergman and Amir Glover. JaLeiya is a part of the Academic Quiz Bowl team and is in the Ski Club. She is also a member of the girls modified soccer team and varsity flag football team. After graduation, she plans to go to college and become a doctor.

George Bogardus, 10th grade and the son of George and Amanda Bogardus. He plays the violin in Chamber Orchestra and the clarinet in Concert Band. George is also a member of the Marching Band. He privately studies violin with Suzuki Teacher Nina Karbacka, and assists with younger Suzuki students in group lessons.

Joseph Perry, 11th grade and the son of Joseph Perry and Lisa Morrell. He is a member of the varsity football team and actively participates in school athletics. While he plans to attend college after graduation, he is still exploring his options for the future.

Emily Ott, 12th grade, likes to enjoy the outdoors , read and work part-time at Shoe Dept. in order to save money for college. Her hobbies include calico critter collecting and hiking. After graduation, Emily plans to go to Jamestown Community College to earn an associate degree in individual studies while also becoming a radiology technician.
